Vartal-7: The Characteristics of Godly and Demonic People; Anvay-Vyatirek

Nirupan

August 1958, Surat. Yogiji Mahārāj asked, “What does it mean that one is absorbed into Brahma and then emerges from Brahma again?”

He explained himself, “If conviction of divyabhāv in the Motā-Purush is lacking, one keeps perceiving virtues and flaws in the Motā-Purush. Therefore, when he perceives virtues in the Motā-Purush and sattva-gun is predominant, then one acts according to the Satpurush’s wishes and does not show any of his own inherent traits - in this way, he merges into Brahma. However, when rajo-gun and tamo-gun are predominant, then one perceives flaws in the Motā-Purush’s actions - meaning he emerged out of Brahma. If, while going back and forth this way, one’s awareness becomes firm, perception of flaws ceases and conviction of the Motā-Purush’s form and divyabhāv in him becomes permanent and resolute.”
