Māhātmya ne Shraddhāthī Akhanḍ Chintvan Thāy, Fāṭel Langoṭī ne Tumbaḍīnu
Samvat 1878nā Shrāvaṇ sudi 5 Panchamīne divas Swāmī Shrī Sahajānandjī Mahārāj Shrī Gaḍhaḍā madhye Dādā Khācharnā darabārmā āthamṇe dvār meḍīnī osarīe virājmān hatā ane sarve shvet vastra dhāraṇ karyā hatā ne potānā mukhārvindnī āgaḷ Paramhansa tathā desh-deshnā haribhaktanī sabhā bharāīne beṭhī hatī ne Paramhansa dūkaḍ, sarodā, satār vagāḍīne malār rāgnā kīrtan gātā hatā.
Pachhī Shrījī Mahārāje kahyu je, “Kīrtan gāvavā rahevā dyo, have to Parameshvarnī vārtā karīe.” Pachhī Paramahanse kahyu je, “Sāru, Mahārāj!” Pachhī Shrījī Mahārāje prashna karyu je, “Shāstramā kahyā evā dharma pāḷato hoy ne Bhagwānnī bhakti paṇ karato hoy ne tene evo āpatkāḷ āve je, bhakti rākhavā jāy to dharma jāy ne dharma rākhavā jāy to bhakti jāy, tyāre kene rākhavo ne keno tyāg karavo?” Pachhī Brahmānand Swāmī bolyā je, “Jo Bhagwān bhakti rākhye rājī hoy to bhakti rākhavī ane jo dharma rākhye rājī hoy to dharma rākhavo.”
Tyāre Shrījī Mahārāje kahyu je, “Jene prakaṭ Bhagwān maḷyā hoy tene to jem Bhagwān rājī hoy tem ja karavu e ṭhīk chhe, paṇ jyāre Bhagwānnu parokṣhpaṇu hoy tyāre kem karavu?”11 Pachhī Muktānand Swāmī eno uttar karavā lāgyā paṇ thayo nahī. Pachhī Shrījī Mahārāj bolyā je, “Jyāre Bhagwān parokṣh hoy ne āpatkāḷ paḍe ne koī na rahe tyāre to Bhagwānnu ek akhanḍ chintvan karavu, to e Bhagwānnā mārg thakī paḍe nahī.”
Pachhī vaḷī Shrījī Mahārāje prashna pūchhyo je, “Je Bhagwānno mahimā atishay samajto hoy teṇe karīne em jāṇe je, ‘Game teṭalā pāp karyā hoy ne jo Bhagwānnu ek nām līdhu hoy to sarve pāp baḷīne bhasma thaī jāy.’ Evu māhātmya samajto hoy, tene kevī rīte samaje tyāre dharmamāthī ḍagāy nahī?” Pachhī Muktānand Swāmīe e prashnano uttar karavā mānḍyo paṇ thayo nahī. Pachhī Shrījī Mahārāj bolyā je, “Je Bhagwānno mahimā atishay jāṇato hoy tene to āvī rīte samajāy tyāre dharmamā rahevāy je, ‘Māre to akhanḍ Bhagwānnu chintvan karīne ekāntik bhakta thavu chhe.’12 Ane jo kām, krodh, lobhādik vikārne viṣhe mārī vṛutti jashe to māre Bhagwānnā chintvanmā eṭalo vikṣhep thashe.’ Em jāṇīne kumārg thakī atishe ja ḍarato rahe ane adharmane viṣhe koī kāḷe pravarte ja nahī. Evī rīte samaje to Bhagwānnu māhātmya atishay samajto hoy to paṇ dharmamāthī koī kāḷe paḍe nahī. Ane Bhagwānnu je akhanḍ chintvan thavu te kāī thoḍī vāt nathī, Bhagwānnu chintvan karatā karatā jo deh mūke to te ati moṭī padavīne pāme chhe.”
Pachhī Brahmānand Swāmīe pūchhyu je, “Em jāṇīe chhīe to paṇ akhanḍ chintvan rahetu nathī enu shu kāraṇ chhe?” Pachhī Shrījī Mahārāj bolyā je, “Ek to akhanḍ chintvan thāy evī shraddhā joīe ane jyāre evī shraddhā na hoy tyāre teṭalu māhātmya jāṇyāmā paṇ ochhyap chhe ane jyāre māhātmya jāṇyāmā ochhyap chhe tyāre Bhagwānnā swarūpnā nishchaymā paṇ eṭalī ochhyap chhe. Māṭe jo Bhagwānnā swarūpnu māhātmya tathā shraddhā hoy to akhanḍ chintvan thāy. Te māhātmya em jāṇavu je, ‘Bhagwān to13 jevā Prakṛuti-Puruṣh thakī par chhe tevā ne tevā Prakṛuti-Puruṣhmā āvyā chhe to paṇ pratāpe yukta chhe ane Prakṛuti-Puruṣhnu kārya je brahmānḍ tene viṣhe āvyā chhe to paṇ Bhagwān tevā ne tevā pratāpe yukta chhe, paṇ Bhagwānnī mūrtine viṣhe koī rīte māyāno lesh aḍato nathī. Jem anya dhātu chhe ne sonu paṇ chhe, tene bheḷā karīne pṛuthvīmā dāṭe to sonā vinā anya dhātu chhe te sarve ghaṇe kāḷe karīne dhūḍya bhegā dhūḍya thaī jāy ane sonu hoy te to jem pṛuthvīmā rahe tem vṛuddhi pāme paṇ ghaṭe nahī. Tem Bhagwān ane bījā je Brahmādik dev tathā muni te kāī sarakhā nathī; kem je, jyāre viṣhayrūpī dhūḍyano yog thāy tyāre Bhagwān vinā bījā game tevā moṭā hoy to paṇ viṣhaymā ekras thaī jāy ane Bhagwān to manuṣhya jevā jaṇātā hoy to paṇ ene māyik padārth bādh karavāne samarth thāy nahī ane game tevā viṣhay hoy to temā koī divas lopāy nahī. Evu Bhagwānnu alaukik sāmarthya chhe.’ Em Bhagwānnu māhātmya jāṇe to tene Bhagwānnu akhanḍ chintvan thāy. Ane jyā sudhī viṣhayno līdho levāy tyā sudhī e bhakte Bhagwānno alaukik mahimā jāṇyo ja nathī. Ane jo Uddhavjī hatā tene Bhagwāne em kahyu je, ‘He Uddhav! Hu thakī aṇumātra nyūn nathī.’14 Te shā māṭe je, Uddhavjīe alaukik Bhagwānnu māhātmya jāṇyu hatu ne panch-viṣhaynā līdhā levātā nahotā. Ane jene Bhagwānno mahimā samajāy chhe tene rājya hoy athavā bhīkh māgī khāya te bey sarakhu varte; ane bāḷak strī ane soḷ varṣhnī strī ane eshī varṣhnī strī te sarvamā sarakho bhāv varte; ane je je sansārmā sāru-narasu padārth hoy te sarvemā sarakhī bhāvanā rahe paṇ sārā padārthmā patangiyānī peṭhe anjāī jāy nahī; ane Bhagwān vinā bījā koī padārthmā lobhāy nahī, ek Bhagwānnī mūrtimā ja lobhāy. Ane evī rīte je vartato hoy te bhakta game tevā moṭā viṣhay hoy temā bandhāy nahī; ane jo evo marma na samajāyo hoy to fāṭī langoṭī tathā tumbaḍī temāthī paṇ manne ukheḍavu mahāmushkel chhe. Māṭe āvī rīte Bhagwānnī mūrtinu māhātmya jāṇyā vinā bījā koṭi sādhan kare to paṇ Bhagwānnī mūrtinu akhanḍ chintvan thatu nathī ane je Bhagwānnā swarūpno mahimā jāṇe chhe tene ja Bhagwānnu akhanḍ chintvan thāy chhe.”

PĀDAṬĪPO
11. Bene madhye keno tyāg karavo ane kene rākhavu.
12. Temā dharmādik chār hetuo chhe, temā dharma mukhya chhe. Te dharma Bhagwānne ati priya chhe, kem ke Bhagwān dharma-rakṣhaṇ māṭe ja yug-yugmā prakaṭ thāy chhe ane dharma-drohīono nāsh kare chhe. Bhagwānne dharma priya chhe māṭe māre dharmamā ja rahevu.
13. Sadāy ati shūddha chhe, swatantra chhe tathā nirvikār chhe ane.
