મૂળ મહેસાણા જિલ્લાના વતની અને કણબી જાતિમાં જન્મેલા ગુરુચરણરતાનંદ સ્વામી શ્રીહરિમાં જ ચિત્તની વૃત્તિ રાખતા. કથાવાર્તા કરવામાં કુશળ એવા સ્વામીએ આજીવન ગામડાંઓમાં વિચરીને સત્સંગ કરેલો. જ્યારે અમદાવાદ મંદિરના પથ્થર આવતા બંધ થયા ત્યારે મહારાજે તેમને ઈડર મોકલ્યા હતા અને ત્યાંના રાજાને સત્સંગ કરાવેલો.

Originally from the Mahesānā district, Gurucharanratānand Swāmi was born to a farmer family. His mind was always drawn to Shriji Maharaj. He was proficient in delivering kathā. He traveled to villages to spread satsang. When the stones from the Amdāvād mandir stopped coming, Maharaj sent him to Idar to convince the king to resume the shipping of stones. He brought the king to Satsang.
