સત્સંગી ભક્તો
ચરોતર પ્રદેશના પીપળાવના પ્રભાશંકર બાળપણથી જ પ્રભુભક્તિમાં મગ્ન રહેતા. ધર્મ-નિયમમાં સારી રુચિ રાખતા અને કથાવાર્તાનું વ્યસન રાખતા. પ્રભાશંકર લગ્ન કરવા જઈ રહ્યા હતા. એ જ વખતે મહારાજ વરતાલ તેડાવે છે તેવો પત્ર આવ્યો તો લગ્ન બંધ રખાવ્યાં અને બોલ્યા, “લગ્ન તો ફરી લેવાશે, પણ મહારાજની આજ્ઞા ફરી નહીં મળે.” સં. ૧૮૬૬માં ફરી વાર આવું જ બન્યું. તેઓનાં લગ્ન લેવાયાં હતાં, ત્યાં મહારાજની ડભાણના યજ્ઞની કંકોતરી આવી તો પોતે ડભાણ જવા તૈયાર થઈ ગયા.

Prabhāshankar was from Pipalāv located in the Charotar region. He was inclined to devotion from childhood. He remained within the disciplines of dharma and followed niyams. He had an addiction of listening to kathā-vārtā. Once, he was on the way to his wedding when he received a letter from Shriji Maharaj from Vartāl calling him. He stopped his wedding, saying, “I can get married at another time, but I will not get an opportunity to follow Maharaj’s āgnā again.” In Samvat 1866, the same happened again. He was going to his wedding when Maharaj’s invitation to the yagna of Dabhān arrived. He postponed his wedding to go to Dabhān.
