સેવકરામ ઉત્તર ભારતનો સાધુ હતો. તે તીર્થો ફરવા નીકળેલો. તેની પાસે રૂપિયા હજારની સોનામહોર હતી. તે શ્રીમદ્ભાગવતાદિક શાસ્ત્રોનો ભણેલો હતો. તે રામેશ્વર જતાં માર્ગમાં માંદો પડેલો ત્યારે મહારાજે નીલકંઠ વેશે તેની સેવા કરી હતી પણ તેણે વર્ણીને એક વાર પણ ભોજન માટે પૂછ્યું નહોતું. સાજો થયા પછી પણ મણનો ભાર વર્ણી પાસે ઉપડાવતો. આથી વર્ણીએ કૃતઘ્ની જાણી ત્યાગ કરેલો.
પછીથી તે બીજા જન્મે ધોલેરા પાસે જિંજર ગામમાં ખોડાભાઈ તરીકે જન્મેલો. પૂર્વે મહારાજ પાસે સેવા કરાવેલી તેથી આ જન્મે આર્થિક પરિસ્થિતિ અત્યંત સામાન્ય હતી. છતાં તેણે પોતાની તલવાર વેચી ગોપાળાનંદ સ્વામીને રસોઈ જમાડેલી. આથી તેની સ્થિતિ સારી થયેલી.

Sevakrām was a sadhu from northern India who was traveling to the holy places of pilgrimage. He had a thousand rupees worth of gold coins and was learned in Shrimad Bhagwat and other scriptures. He fell ill on the way to Rāmeshwar. Maharaj took care of him during his travels as Nilkanth Varni. However, this sadhu never gave him food to eat or money to buy food. He made Nilkanth Varni carry his load. Realizing him to be ungrateful, Varni abandoned him.
In his next life, he was born in Jinjar as Khodābhāi. Because he made Maharaj serve him in his previous life, he was financially poor in this life. Nevertheless, he sold his sword, made food from the money he earned, and served Gopalanand Swami. His financial situation improved after this pious deed.
