જીવુબાઈ
સત્સંગી ભક્તો
ગઢપુરના દરબાર એભલખાચરનાં પુત્રી અને દાદાખાચરની મોટી બહેન એટલે જીવુબા. તેઓ ‘મોટીબા’, ‘પૂનમતિબા’ અને ‘જયા’ના નામથી પણ ઓળખાતાં. ભક્તિમય જીવન વિતાવવા ખટરસ ત્યાગ, જમીન પર સૂવું, પુરુષમાત્રથી પંદર હાથ દૂર રહેવું, અખંડ પ્રભુસેવા વગેરે તેમને સહજ હતું. તેમનાં લગ્ન કુંડળના હોથિયા પટગર સાથે થયેલાં, પણ બ્રહ્મચર્ય પાળવા તેમની રજાચિઠ્ઠી લઈ ગઢડામાં જ રહેતાં. પોતે નિરાવરણ દૃષ્ટિવાળાં હતાં અને અખંડ મહારાજનાં દર્શન કરતાં. જીવુબા, લાડુબા અને દાદાખાચરની ભક્તિને વશ થઈ મહારાજે દાદાખાચરના દરબારને જ પોતાનું ઘર માન્યું હતું. પોતાનું સર્વસ્વ તેમણે મહારાજ અને સંતો-ભક્તો માટે આપી દીધું. જીવુબાના ઉપદેશથી લાડુદાનને સંસાર અસાર લાગ્યો અને દીક્ષા લઈ બ્રહ્માનંદ સ્વામી બન્યા હતા.

Jivubā was the daughter of Abhel Khāchar, the darbār of Gadhpur, and the older sister of Dādā Khāchar. She was also known as Motibā, Punamatibā, and Jayā. She spent her life with devotion. She avoided tasty foods, slept on the floor, and kept a distance of 15 hands between herself and males. He occupied herself in the service of God. She was married to Hothiyā Patgar of Kundal. However, she got permission to observe celibacy and she remained in Gadhadā. She was endowed with divine sight and was able to see Shriji Maharaj wherever he was. Maharaj stayed in Gadhadā and made Dādā Khāchar’s darbār his home because of the unparalleled love Jivubā, Ladubā, and Dādā Khāchar had for him. They offered all of their wealth and property to serve Maharaj’s sadhus and devotees. Lādudānji became Brahmānand Swāmi because of Jivubā’s preaching to him about the vain pleasures of worldly life.
