કઠલાલનાં રામબાઈ
સત્સંગી ભક્તો
ગુજરાતમાં ખેડા જિલ્લાના કઠલાલ ગામનાં રામબાઈ એક બ્રાહ્મણ હરિભક્ત હતાં. આખા ગામમાં તેઓ એક જ સત્સંગી હોવા છતાં શ્રીજીમહારાજ પ્રત્યે અનન્ય નિષ્ઠા હતી. એક વાર શ્રીજીમહારાજ વરતાલ જતાં કઠલાલથી પસાર થતા હતા ત્યારે રામબાઈએ મહારાજને પાણીના ઘડામાં પગ બોળવા કહ્યું. મહારાજે તેનું કારણ પૂછ્યું, ત્યારે રામબાઈએ કહ્યું, “આ ચરણામૃત હું થોડું પીશ અને બાકીનું ગામના કૂવામાં નાખીશ. આ પ્રસાદીનું જળ જાણે-અજાણે જે પીશે તેને સત્સંગના સંસ્કાર થશે.” મહારાજે પ્રસન્ન થઈ પગ બોળ્યા. રામબાઈએ થોડું પાણી ઘડામાંથી પીધું ને બાકીનું કૂવામાં નાંખ્યું. ગામના જે ભાગમાં કૂવો છે ત્યાંના તમામ વંશજોમાં અદ્યાપિપર્યંત સત્સંગ છે.
Rāmbāi of Kathlāl

In Khedā district of Gujarat, Rāmbāi was a brāhmin devotee that lived in Kathlāl village. She was the only satsangi, yet she had unparalleled faith in Shriji Maharaj. Once, Maharaj passed Kathlāl while going to Vartāl. Rāmbāi met Maharaj and asked him to dip his foot in a pot of water. Maharaj asked why. She said, “I will drink some of this charanāmrut (consecrated water) and pour the rest in the village well. That way, whoever drinks the water from the village well knowingly or unknowingly will imbibe the virtues of satsang.” Maharaj was pleased with her answer and dipped his foot in the water. She poured that water in the village well. To this day, all of the descendants of that village where the well is located are satsangis.
