Gadhadā III-28

While Yogiji Mahārāj was sick, Govindsinha Chudāsamā came to visit him. He requested Swāmishri to discard his illness quickly. Swāmishri laughed and said, “We cannot pray for our self - we cannot ask Mahārāj for that. Mahārāj has said in the Vachanāmrut (Gadhada III-28) that, no matter what hardships one may encounter, a true devotee never becomes disturbed. Even if one was placed on a shuli, one cannot pray for their self. Therefore, you all pray.” So saying, Yogiji Mahārāj laughed a great deal.
