Gadhadā I-62

Samvat 1992, in the month of second Bhādarvā, a grand pārāyan was held in Amdāvād in the auspicious presence of Shāstriji Mahārāj. Arjunbhāi Ranchhodbhāi Chāvadā, who was familiar with Akshar-Purushottam Upāsanā, came for the kathā. He had listened to talks of great sadhus from Junagadh, such as Nārandāsji, Tyāgvallabhdāsji, and Dharmaprasāddāsji.

Once, Arjunbhāi went for darshan in the old Swāminārāyan Mandir in Gondal. In the assembly, Gadhadā I-62 was being read. He asked Nārandās Swāmi, “If the redemptive attributes, such as satya, shauch, etc. are imbibed by a Sant, can that Sant be called Bhagwān’s form?”

Nārandās Swāmi, who had received Gunātitānand Swāmi’s grace, said, “Certainly, whoever possesses these attributes is the form of Bhagwān.”

While listening to Swāmishri’s pure speech in Amdāvād, Arjunbhāi recalled the former dialog with Nārandās Swāmi many years prior and realized that Shāstriji Mahārāj is indeed the manifest form of Bhagwān.

Later, he asked Shāstriji Mahārāj many questions. Swāmishri answered his questions and said, “I want to explain the principles of a few Vachanāmruts during the samaiyo in Bochāsan.” Arjunbhāi had gone to Bochāsan and solidified the belief that the 39 redemptive attributes are present in Shāstriji Mahārāj. He was overjoyed having found the truth that he was seeking after so many years.
