Gadhadā II-18

  1. A person who has committed any of the five grave sins can be redeemed at some point in time. However, one who has accepted either the beliefs of nāstiks or shushka-Vedāntis will never be redeemed.
  2. Beliefs nāstiks:
  1. They do not believe God is the all-doer, master of all, redeemer of sinners, and uplifter of the wretched.
  2. They believe their liberation is through their karmas.
  3. Their understanding is not in accordance with the Vedas, Shāstras, and Purāns.
  1. Beliefs of shushka-Vedāntis:
  1. I am God because God Himself assumes the form of the jiva.
  2. They do not engage in any spiritual endeavour or worship God.
  1. True gnāni:
  1. Engage in meditation of God, chanting His holy name, singing devotions songs, etc.
  2. Even though they are powerful, they remain as servants of God.
  1. There is no deed greater than keeping the company of the Satpurush, conversely, there is no sin graver than keeping the company of ignorant people such as the shushka-Vedāntis.
