Gadhadā II-26

  1. A devotee of God should never do anything that displeases God and His Bhakta.
  2. Anything that hinders him in worshipping God:
  1. One should forsake his own relatives or any swabhāvs just as one forsakes one’s enemy.
  2. He should suppress even gnān of the ātmā, vairāgya or dharma.
  1. One who perceives flaws in others and virtues in himself:
  1. He may be known as a satsangi, but he should be known to be half-fallen.
  2. No matter how great he may be, he will certainly encounter hindrances on the path of liberation.
  1. One who perceives virtues in all satsangis and flaws in himself, his satsang becomes strong.
  2. When Shriji Mahārāj gives advice to someone, if they accept it positively, He develops affection for them.
