Gadhadā II-40

  1. Harming or spiting a devotee of God:
  1. If it happens knowingly or unknowingly through thought, word or deed, then to atone for this:
  1. One should physically and mentally offer one extra prostration daily.
  2. One should verbally pray to atone.
  3. One should strive to avoid harming a devotee again.
  1. Can be caused by greed, egotism, jealousy, and anger.
  2. One who harms a devotee of God is not liberation but suffers intense misery.
  3. One who does not harm a devotee of God becomes extremely blissful.
  1. The way a jiva is liberated by serving a devotee of God mentally, verbally, and physically, it is not liberated via any other means.
