Gadhadā II-44

1. Due to influence of adverse places, time, company, etc., one perceives more flaws in a devotee.
2. A godly devotee:

1. Must have had the company of a great Purush or the darshan of God in his previous life.
2. Perceives his own flaws but never perceives flaws in other devotees of God.

3. A demonic devotee:

1. Never perceives his own flaws but perceives flaws in other devotees of God.
2. Even if he stays in Satsang, he is similar to Kālnemi, Rāvan and Rāhu.
