Vachanamrut Essence

Amdāvād-2

  1. Four types of dissolution [pralays]:
  1. Nitya-pralay: jiva’s deep sleep, when all of the jiva’s adjuncts are absorbed.
  2. Nimitta-pralay: Ishwar’s deep sleep when all of the ishwar’s adjuncts are absorbed.
  3. Prākrut-pralay: all of the entities that had evolved from Prakruti are assimilated back into Prakruti, in which one brahmānd, which is the adjunct of Pradhān-Purush, is destroyed.
  4. There are two types of ātyantik-pralay:
  1. Vāstavik-pralay: everything up to and including Prakruti is eclipsed by the light of Brahma.
  2. Gnān-pralay: by becoming brahmarup, overcoming the influence of Prakruti.
  1. One who worships God after becoming brahmarup by way of gnān-pralay:
  1. Is a superior devotee.
  2. Is never engulfed by the adjuncts of māyā again.
  3. If at any time he does assume a physical body, then just like God assumes a body by His own will, he also assumes a body by his own will.
  4. Kāl, karma or māyā do not control his fate.
