  1. The solution to not develop affection to anyone other than God:
  1. Just as a wife observes the vow of fidelity; similarly, one should not have affection for anyone else [even previous avatārs or mukta sādhus] except for the manifest form of God one has attained.
  2. Abide by the wishes of one’s Ishtadev.
