Vachanamrut Essence
Gadhadā III-37
- Just as a king who becomes poor will remember the expensive delicacies he ate; similarly, if one has thoroughly known the knowledge and bliss of God’s form, then he will not forget these in adverse times.
- The conviction of one’s liberation will develop if one understands the greatness of God this way:
- The powers of kāl [i.e. ability to destroy everything] do not apply to God.
- Only God is like God.
- God is nirgun and those who mediate upon Him also become nirgun.
- God is the giver of the fruits of karmas and He is the life of the jivas.
- He is the master of all yogic powers and countless other divine powers.
