Vachanamrut Essence

Gadhadā III-37

  1. Just as a king who becomes poor will remember the expensive delicacies he ate; similarly, if one has thoroughly known the knowledge and bliss of God’s form, then he will not forget these in adverse times.
  2. The conviction of one’s liberation will develop if one understands the greatness of God this way:
  1. The powers of kāl [i.e. ability to destroy everything] do not apply to God.
  2. Only God is like God.
  3. God is nirgun and those who mediate upon Him also become nirgun.
  4. God is the giver of the fruits of karmas and He is the life of the jivas.
  5. He is the master of all yogic powers and countless other divine powers.
