Amdāvād-5
- The extraordinary characteristics of God:
- He can control the nādis and prāns of innumerable beings and grant them instant samādhi.
- He can influence hundreds of thousands of people by having them abide by niyams.
- He can control Akshar and the muktas.
- The manifest God that resides in this brahmānd also assumes a body in countless other brahmānds to liberate jivas.
- What should satsangis renounce?
- The desire for worldly [māyik] objects.
- Lustful desires or thoughts.
- Affection for one’s relatives.
- The sense of I-ness towards the body.
- Perceiving faults in God and the Sant.
- What should satsangis accept?
- Desires related to God.
- Desire for bliss related to God.
- Affection for the Sant who is a servant of God.
- The attitude of being a servant of God.
- The virtues of God and the Sant.
- Characteristics of dharma, arth, kām, and moksha:
- Dharma: using wealth in Satsang for the purpose of dharma but not squandering it for other purposes.
- Arth: Accumulating wealth or fulfilling one’s aim of liberation.
- Kām: Keeping one wife and regarding other women as either one’s mother, sister, or daughter.
- Moksha: Observing all vows of Satsang diligently and keeping unfaltering faith in God.
