Gadhadā I-43

  1. Four types of liberation [mukti]:
  1. Reside in the realm of God.
  2. Stay near God.
  3. Assume a form similar to that of God.
  4. Attain divine power similar to God’s powers.
  1. Sakām devotee:
  1. Desires the four types of liberation.
  2. Should overcome this deficiency [3a] by profoundly associating with a nishkām Ekāntik Bhakta of God.
  1. Nishkām devotee:
  1. Does not desire the four types of liberation if they are without the service of God.
  2. Only desires the service of God.
  3. God keeps him in His own service.
  4. God insistently grants him His divine powers and bliss.
