Gadhadā I-46

1. Characteristics of Chidākāsh:

1. It is one of the forms of Brahma and is extremely luminous.
2. It pervades everything and is the supporter of all.
3. It is eternal [without a beginning], not subject to change, and not subject to creation or destruction

2. The ākāsh that is one of the five panch-bhuts:

1. Evolves from tamogun and is full of darkness.
2. Is subject to change and subject to creation and destruction.
3. Contracts during samādhi and becomes assimilated.
