Vachanamrut Essence

Gadhadā I-6

  1. One who is wise (viveki):
  1. Finds flaws within himself and perceives virtues in God and His devotees.
  2. When God and His Sant utter harsh words of advice for his own benefit, he accepts them as beneficial.
  3. Steadily attains greatness in Satsang.
  1. One who is not wise (aviveki):
  1. Perceives virtues within himself.
  2. When God and His Sant highlight his flaws and advise him, he perceives flaws in them due to his arrogance.
  3. Steadily declines and loses his reputation in Satsang.
  1. When one renounces the vanity of his own virtues, becomes brave, and keeps faith in God and His Sant, then his ignorance is eradicated.
