Gadhadā I-69
- Dharma involving violence:
- Is for the attainment of dharma, arth and kām.
- Is for the purpose of limiting violence.
- Is for fulfilling worldly desires, but it is not for the attainment of liberation.
- Dharma not involving violence:
- Is for the attainment of liberation.
- Is the dharma of a sādhu.
- Is only for the attainment of liberation.
- The dharma of a sadhu:
- Should not bear malice to anyone by thought, word or deed.
- Should not harbor arrogance.
- Behave as a servant of servants.
- Behave in a calm manner.
- Having a hostile personality is the dharma of a wicked person.
