Vachanamrut Essence
Sārangpur-2
- The mutual love that develops from the virtues of speech, deeds, and mind will not dissolve.
- How should one behave with their speech:
- One should not hurt any living being with one’s speech.
- One should purposely accept defeat before God and senior sādhus.
- If a command by God or His great Sant seems inappropriate and leads to doubts, then one should, humbly and with bhakti, compromise with them or have a senior sādhu reach a compromise with them; but one should not immediately refuse to abide by it.
- How should one behave physically:
- One should weaken the body by engaging in worship or by observing the chāndrāyan vow; but one should not take care of one’s own body.
- One should physically serve God and His devotees.
- Regarding virtues of the mind, one should behave this way: One should do darshan of God with an attentive mind and concentrated vision and internalise that form exactly as it is in one’s heart.
- When one does darshan or listens while keeping an attentive mind and a fixed gaze:
- One feels divinity of God in their mind.
- The darshan and discourses remains novel.
- The mind becomes stable.
- When one does not do darshan or does not listen while keeping an attentive mind and a fixed gaze:
- God and the Sant are not pleased.
- He declines from satsang day by day.
- He forgets the darshan he has done or discourses he has heard.
- One should reprimand one’s eyes and ears to keep them under control whilst doing darshan of God.
