Gadhada II-48: The ‘Vandu’ Devotional Songs; Taking Birth in the Company of the Sant

Nirupan

May 12, 1963, Panchālā. After having Gadhadā II-48 read, Yogiji Mahārāj said, “One who contemplates on anything other than God is completely lost. College and high school students are completely lost. Office workers, people working in law, and police are completely lost. Dogs and donkeys do not have wedding ceremonies. It happens automatically. That [worldly] happiness is found in all life forms. Cattle get grass and other necessities, but is liberation attained? It is not attained. If one builds a nice house and installs the murti of Thākorji, then one can offer devotion and contemplate on God. One who perceives worth in worldly affairs has a worldly vision. Wherever Mahārāj and Gunātitānand Swāmi have eaten is a sanctified place. Did anyone insist that we go to Dhārashibhāi’s house, which was graced by Shāstriji Mahārāj? Did anyone tell us to go there? Yet, we still went. Wherever God and the Sant have been is Akshardhām.”

[Brahmaswarup Yogiji Mahārāj: 3/478]
