Kariyani-9: Obstinacy like a Buffalo
Summary
- Someone who has a spiteful obstinacy that develops into a grudge for someone and never forsakes that grudge but continues to be obstinate like a buffalo cannot be called a sadhu.
- A person who possesses the bhakti of God in his heart and realises the greatness of God:
- Would never develop a spiteful obstinacy towards a devotee of God.
- Would never see faults of devotees, however minor they may be.
- Would never develop animosity toward the devotees of God.
- Would look upon the devotees who have come into contact with God as equivalent to deities.
- Should be known to be a perfect satsangi.
- One who has not realized the greatness of God and his devotees:
- Develops animosity toward the devotees of God.
- Should be known as being half-fallen, even if he is a satsangi.
