Loya-14: Personal Preferences
Summary
- Shriji Mahārāj speaks about His own personal preferences for the sake of revealing the ideals of a devotee:
- He does not have a liking for the Advait philosophy.
- He has a liking for the upāsanā of Purushottam Bhagwan, who is above kshar [perishable] and Akshar [imperishable].
- He likes the bhakti like that of the gopis.
- He likes vairāgya and ātmā-realisation like that of Jadbharat and Shukji.
- He likes a renunciant who does not trust his mind.
- Purushottam Bhagwan in seated in His luminous abode Akshardhām, which is above all. He does not have a liking for the divine light but likes the darshan of the muktas along with God.
- One who does not have vices such as lust, one who observes dharma, and one who possesses bhakti toward God – he enjoys the company of such a person.
- He has a stronger dislike for those who have anger, egotism or jealousy than one who is lustful, because these three vices cause one to regress and fall from Satsang.
