Gadhada I-18: Denouncing the Vishays; A Haveli
Summary
- Without vartan [as described by Shriji Mahārāj in this Vachanamrut and in 3b], even by listening to, or studying and understanding the meanings of the four Vedas, six Shāstras, eighteen Purāns, and the Mahābhārat and other Itihās scriptures, one cannot become a mukta.
- The disturbance that a bhakta of God experiences in his heart is due to complacency of the antahkaran and the impure indulgences [vishays] of the indriyas.
- Shriji Mahārāj is pleased with one who understands the following and acts accordingly; and he becomes a mukta and will reach Akshardhām:
- If the indulgences of the five indriyas are impure, then the antahkaran will become polluted.
- If the indulgences of the five indriyas are pure, then the antahkaran will remain pure and one will be able to constantly remember God.
- By associating with kusang, one’s intellect becomes polluted. Conversely, the company of Bhagwan and Sant purifies one’s intellect.
- No one has remained uninfluenced whilst associating with kusang; therefore, association with kusang should be shunned.
- Shriji Mahārāj is God and He is extremely pure [unaffected by impure vishays].
- All actions of Shriji Mahārāj are for the liberation of the jivas; therefore, no one should imitate his actions.
- If one does not understand the above and act accordingly, then:
- He will not go to God’s abode.
- He will be reborn as a ghost or a demon and will have to suffer.
