Gadhada II-48: The ‘Vandu’ Devotional Songs; Taking Birth in the Company of the Sant

Summary

1. Premanand Swami sang the “Vandu” kirtans in front of Shriji Mahārāj.
2. One who continuously contemplates on God:

1. Shriji Mahārāj wishes to prostrate before such a person.
2. He becomes enlightened whilst possessing his current body.
3. He and his parents become fulfilled.
4. He is freed from the bondage of kāl, karma and māyā.
5. He is the greatest among all of the devotees.
6. He is called an ekāntik bhakta of God.
7. He only enjoys the vishays related to God.
8. Shriji Mahārāj wishes to be born among such a devotee.
9. By his association, others also develop continuous contemplation of God.

3. One who contemplates on objects and vishays other than God:

1. His misery never comes to an end even after countless millions of years.
2. It should be considered he has become lost in the path of liberation.

4. The company of such a sādhu who is a knower of Brahma, as well as the direct darshan and contemplation of God are extremely rare.
