Gadhada II-51: The Characteristics of One Who Behaves as the Ātmā

- As long as the influence of the gunas remains within a person, he will never experience happiness; only when he behaves as the ātmā does he become happy.
- Those who follows the commands of the Satpurush:
- Is behaving as the ātmā.
- Can be said to be under the influence of favourable circumstances.
- Those who do not follows the commands of the Satpurush:
- Can be said to be under the influence of adverse circumstances.
- Will never experience happiness.
