Vartal-11: The Destruction of the Jiva; Love for the Satpurush Is the Only Means to Realizing the Ātmā
Summary
- If anyone harms [spites] God, a devotee of God, Brāhmin, or the meek, then:
- His jiva is destroyed.
- Shriji Mahārāj detests even the sight of him.
- Such a person will never attain Shriji Mahārāj’s company, either in this realm or in other realms.
- One should never keep egotism of any sort before God or His devotee, because:
- Egotism is the cause of anger, matsar, and jealousy.
- The bhakti of an egotist becomes demonic.
- Shriji Mahārāj commanded everyone to sing and memorize ‘Mārā harji shu’ and ‘Mārā vahālāji shu’ daily.
- The pundits of the world do not understand the greatness of God and the Sant because:
- They do not have the refuge of God.
- They are overpowered by their inner enemies [ego, anger, lust, jealousy, etc.].
- They perceive God and His Sant to be just like themselves.
- When one develops intense affection for the Satpurush:
- One never perceives any kind of fault in the Satpurush.
- One will always believe the Satpurush’s words.
- It is the only means to realising one’s ātmā.
- It is the only means to realising the greatness of the Satpurush.
- It is also the only means to having the direct realisation of God.
