Gadhada III-20: ‘Swabhāv’, ‘Prakruti’ and ‘Vāsanā’

Summary

1. The karmas that the jiva has performed during past lives and that have ripened and become assimilated with the jiva are called swabhāv, prakruti, or vāsanā.
2. By performing bhakti with ātmā-realisation, vāsanā is eradicated.
