Gadhada I-31: Greatness Is Due To Faith
Summary
- One who observes nivrutti [path of renunciation or path of inactivity from worldly pursuits] and one who offers bhakti to God:
- One who offers bhakti to God and may verbally hurt someone is better because he serves God and the Sant
- The one who observes nivrutti without hurting anyone and is thereby unable to serve God and the Sant, should be known to be feeble.
- Greatness is due to:
- One’s faith in the manifest form of God.
- Observance of God’s commands and offering bhakti.
- One who forms a habit of perceiving flaws of God’s devotees:
- He will perceive flaws in God and His great devotees.
- His intellect becomes demonic.
