Vato Selection

By Prakaran & Number: You can find and select Vato based on the published Swamini Vato format. Use the left navigation pane to select a Prakaran, then choose the Vat number.

By Length: You can also display Vato sorted from shortest to longest. Click the settings icon in the navigation pane and select Sort by: Length.

By Category: You can select Vato based on the categories defined in the English translation by clicking the Categories tab.

Display Increments: You can choose to display 5 or 10 Vato at a time to optimize reading performance.

Reading Options

Language Display: This site provides 3 text formats: Unicode Gujarati, English translation, and English transliteration. Open the menu menu in the top right toolbar to toggle any format on or off.

Text Size: You can increase or decrease the reading font size directly from the top right menu.

Night Mode: Click the dark_mode icon in the toolbar to switch the site to a dark color scheme for comfortable nighttime reading.

Bookmarking: When reading a specific Vat, a bookmark_add icon will appear in the toolbar. Clicking this saves your exact location. A bookmark icon will then permanently appear in your toolbar allowing you to return to that exact spot anytime.

Audio Playback

Audio controls can be configured inside the menu dropdown menu:

• Show audio player: Toggles the audio player interface on or off.
• Auto play / Auto advance: Allows the audio to play automatically and seamlessly transition to the next Vat when finished. (This feature may not be supported by all browsers or may be restricted by the browser unless the user has interacted with the content on the page.)
• Auto scroll: The webpage will automatically scroll down to keep the actively playing Vat centered on your screen.

Search

You can search the Vato text using English or Unicode Gujarati input via the pillbox search at the bottom of the navigation pane. Use “Keyword” search if you are unsure of the exact phrase, or “Exact” if you know the exact phrase you want to find.

The results will show snippets of the Swamini Vato with your terms highlighted.
