भङ्गासुरादिपानं वा द्यूतादिक्रीडनं तथा।

गालिदानादिकं नैव पर्वस्वपि समाचरेत्॥११९॥

પર્વને વિષે પણ ભાંગ, દારૂ વગેરેનું પાન કરવું, જુગાર વગેરે રમવું, ગાળો બોલવી ઇત્યાદિ ન કરવું. (૧૧૯)

Even during festivities, one should abstain from bhang, alcohol and other such substances, as well as gambling, swearing and other such activities. (119)

अयोग्यविषयाश्चैवम् अयोग्यव्यसनानि च।

आशङ्काः संपरित्याज्याः सत्सङ्गमाश्रितैः सदा॥२७८॥

સત્સંગીઓએ અયોગ્ય વિષયો, વ્યસનો તથા વહેમનો સદાય ત્યાગ કરવો. (૨૭૮)

Satsangis should always renounce inappropriate indulgence in the sense pleasures, addictions and superstitions. (278)
