કીર્તન મુક્તાવલી
ઇતિહાસ
(૧) જેને જોઈએ તે આવો મોક્ષ માગવા રે લોલ
એક સમયે શ્રીજી મહારાજ વરતાલમાં આંબાના વૃક્ષ હેઠળ વીરાજ્યા હતા. સંતો-ભક્તો સભા કરીને તેમની સમક્ષ બેઠા હતા. એક મતપંથી બાવો ત્યાં આવી પહોંચ્યો અને સભામાં મહારાજને પ્રશ્ન કર્યો, “મેં સાંભળ્યું છે કે તમે જીવનમુક્તા કહેવાઓ છો. તમે મોક્ષ વહેંચો છો અને સમાધિ કરાવો છો. શું શાશ્વત શાંતિ અને મોક્ષ રસ્તામાંથી જડે તેવાં સુલભ છે? પૂર્વે મોટા મોટા મુનિઓએ કેટલું તપ કર્યું તો પણ મોક્ષ પ્રાપ્ત કર્યો નથી. અહીં શાકભાજીની જેમ તમે મોક્ષને વહેંચવા મૂક્યો હોય તેમ વહેંચો છો. શું મોક્ષ એટલો સસ્તો છે?”
શ્રીજી મહારાજ આ પ્રશ્ન સાંભળી પ્રસન્ન થયા અને બોલ્યા, “આજે પૃથ્વી ઉપર પૂર્ણ પુરુષોત્તમનારાયણ સાક્ષાત્ બિરાજે છે. માનવીએ કેવળ તેમની ઓળખાણ કરીને તેમની ભક્તિ કરવાની છે. અમારા ભક્તો અને સાધુઓ અમારા નિયમો પ્રમાણે વર્તે છે. જે જન તેમનો ગુણ લેશે તેનો પણ મોક્ષ થશે. એટલા માટે આ કળિકાળમાં આજે મોક્ષ સુલભ થયો છે.”
આ વાત કર્યા પછી મહારાજે બાવાને ખરા ત્યાગીનો માર્ગ ચીંધ્યો અને સમાધિનું સુખ અર્પ્યું. સમાધિમાં પોતાના સ્વરૂપની ઓળખાણ કરાવી. આ પ્રસંગ દરમ્યાન પ્રેમાનંદ સ્વામી હાજર હતા. પછવાડેથી પ્રેમાનંદ સ્વામીએ મહારાજની મોક્ષ ભાવના નિહાળીને કીર્તનો લખી દીધાં.
History
(1) Jene joīe te āvo mokṣha māgvā re lol
One day Shriji Maharaj was seated in an assembly in a mango farm in the town of Vartal. An ascetic of another sect came in the assembly and asked, “I have heard that you are considered as the redeemer of jivas (Jivanmuktā) by your following. You sell moksha and allow any individual to experience samādhi. Are eternal peace and moksha easily found as if they are lying on the road? In the past, many great sages performed penance for a long time and yet were unable to attain moksha. Here, today you are distributing moksha to everyone as if you are distributing vegetables! Is moksha so easy to attain?”
Shriji Maharaj was impressed by this question and replied, “Today, on this earth the almighty Lord, Purshottam Narayan Himself is present. People only have to identify Him, and pray to Him. My devotees and sādhus follow my niyams. Whoever speaks good of them or is impressed by them will also attain moksha. That is why it has become easier for people to attain moksha in this period.”
After saying this, the Lord showed the true path of detachment to the ascetic by granting him the experience of samādhi, and in the trance revealed this true form as the supreme God, the cause of all. During this time, Premanand Swami was present and witnessed this incident. Later, he went to his quarters and remembered the day’s events. Premanand Swami composed a kirtan based on the day’s events, confirming that moksha is definitely possible in this age because the Lord almighty Himself is present.
