નિરૂપણ
(૧) ભાગ્ય જાગ્યાં રે આજ જાણવાં
તા. ૫-૧૧-’૫૫, સ્વામીશ્રી અને સંતો નામદાર મહારાજા કૃષ્ણકુમારસિંહજીના આગ્રહથી ભાવનગર પધાર્યા હતા. બીજે દિવસે સાંજે સ્વામીશ્રીનો સત્કાર સમારંભ ટાઉનહૉલમાં મહારાજા કૃષ્ણકુમારસિંહજીના પ્રમુખપદે રાખવામાં આવ્યો હતો... પ્રસંગોપાત્ત સ્વામીશ્રીએ અહીં અનુભવ-વાણી ઉચ્ચારતાં જણાવ્યું:
... ‘ભાગ્ય જગ્યાં રે આજ જાણવાં...’ એ કીર્તનમાં આવ્યું કે ‘થયા કોટિ કલ્યાણ.’ ત્યારે કહે, “કોટિ કલ્યાણ શું? જીવકોટિમાંથી બ્રહ્મકોટિમાં મૂક્યા. જ્યાં-ત્યાં ભટકતાં, તે સ્વામી-શ્રીજીનો સાક્ષાત્ સંબંધ થયો અને એમાં મન પરોવાઈ ગયું. બળ રાખવું, કેફ રાખવો. નવીન વાત જીવમાં ઉતારવી. સંત મળ્યા, હવે જીવપણું ટળી જાવું જોઈએ.
“કલકત્તાના ગવર્નરનો તાર આવે તો કેટલો કેફ ચડી જાય? આપણને હવે હરિ મુખોમુખ મળ્યા. મોટાપુરુષની કૃપા થઈ તો કેફમાં રહેવું.
“ભેગા રહીને મહિમા જણાય એ ખરું. છેટે મહિમા સહુ જાણે. નાસ્તો ખેંચી લે ત્યારે મહિમા જાણે ત્યારે ખરું. ગોદડું ખેંચી લે, ગરમ પાણીની ડોલ ખેંચી લે, માન ન મળે પણ અપમાન થાય, કુવખાણ થાય અને મહિમા રહે ત્યારે મહિમા ખરો.
“બખતર એવું પહેરવું કે ટોકર ન લાગે. ટોકર માન-અપમાનની, શબ્દની. ભીડામાં આવવું. માન-અપમાન ન રાખવું. મોળું ગોતવું પણ સારું ન ગોતવું, ત્યારે એકાંતિકની સ્થિતિ.
“દેહભાવ આવવા જ દેવો નહિ. આત્મનિષ્ઠામાં ગુણમાત્ર રહ્યા છે, એવું જ્ઞાન થાય ત્યારે સદાય સુખિયા. હજારો માણસ વખાણે એમાં માલ નથી, કુવખાણે એમાં જ માલ છે. ગ. મ. ૬૩ અને લો. ૧૮ વચનામૃતો પ્રમાણે ભગવાનના ભક્ત બ્રહ્મની મૂર્તિ મનાય. સદાય અહોહોપણું મનાવું જોઈએ. મોટાને ભગવાન સાક્ષાત્ જાણીએ તો તેની દરેક ક્રિયા દિવ્ય જણાય. એવો ભાવ ઉદ્ધવજીને આવ્યો. અત્યારે તો દરેક ક્રિયા ગુણાતીત છે. માટે પ્રાપ્તિ બહુ મોટી છે. આ લાભ જો સમજાઈ જાય તો ધામ છેટું નથી.”

(1) Bhāgya jāgyā re āj jāṇvā
On November 5, 1955, at the insistence of Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhaji, Yogiji Maharaj and sadhus arrived in Bhavnagar. The next day, Swamishri was going to be honored in the town hall in presence of the Maharaja. On this occasion, Swamishri said:
“In the kirtan ‘Bhāgya jāgyā re āj jānavā’, the words ‘thayā koti kalyān’ are written. What does that mean? It means one has been placed from the rank of the jiva to the rank of brahma. While we were wandering here and there, we attained the company of Swami and Shriji and our mind became fixed on them. We should keep strength. Imbibe new talks in the jiva. Now that we have attained the Sant, we should cease believing ourselves to be the jiva.
“If one receives a wire from the governor of Kolkata, how ecstatic would he be? We have now met God face to face. We have received grace from the Mota-Purush, so remain ecstatic.
“When one understands the greatness while remaining together is true mahimā. Everyone understand the mahimā while remaining distant. When he snatches your food away and you still understand his greatness, that is real mahimā. He if snatches your blanket away, takes away your hot water pail, he insults instead of honors you, criticizes you... and you still understand his greatness, that is true mahimā.
“One should wear such an armor, that one would not be wounded by honor or insult, or any other words. One should bear burdens. One should look for ordinary things, not the best. That is the state of the ekāntik...”

(૨) ભાગ્ય જાગ્યાં રે આજ જાણવાં
કોટિ કલ્યાણ શું?
સરદારગઢ જતાં રસ્તે સ્વામીના બોડકા પધાર્યા. અહીં મંદિરે દર્શન કરી, એક-બે પધરામણી કરી, સરદારગઢ આવ્યા.
સાંજે આરતી પછી સંતો ‘સંત વિના રે સાચી કોણ કહે...’ કીર્તન ગાતા હતા. સ્વામીશ્રીએ પૂછ્યું, “દરેક સંપ્રદાય એક કલ્યાણ લખે. આમાં કોટિ કેમ લખ્યું?” પછી પોતે જ ઉત્તર કર્યો:
“બીજામાં જોડાયેલા હતા, તેને ખેંચી પોતામાં જોડી દીધા. ગમે તે મૂર્તિ પધરાવી, પણ ખેંચ્યા પોતામાં! બીજે ક્યાંય કલ્યાણ છે જ નહિ એવો નિશ્ચય કરાવ્યો. અક્ષરાધિપતિ પૂર્ણ પુરુષોત્તમ મળ્યાનો આનંદ કરાવ્યો. લાખો જીવોનાં આત્યંતિક કલ્યાણ માટે પધાર્યા અને કલ્યાણ કર્યું. દેવ, અવતાર ને એકાંતિક ધર્મ સમજાવી સર્વોપરી ઉપાસના કરાવવા પુરુષોત્તમ ભગવાન પધાર્યા. મૂળ અક્ષરબ્રહ્મ ને એકાંતિક સંતમાં ખેંચી લીએ ને બીજે માલ ન મનાય તે કોટિ કલ્યાણ!
“‘ડર ના રહ્યો કોઈ દેવનો.’ આ કડી કોઈ ન લખે. પંચાળામાં બ્રહ્માનંદ સ્વામીએ મહારાજને કહેલું, ‘મારા શાલિગ્રામ મોટા છે. એક બાજુ ચંદન ઘસી બીજી બાજુથી ચર્ચીશ.’ આ બ્રહ્માનંદ સ્વામી જ કહી શકે. એવો કાંટો હોય તો કોઈનો ભાર ન રહે.”

(2) Bhāgya jāgyā re āj jāṇvā
What Is Countless Kalyāns
On the way to Sardargadh, Swamishri Yogiji Maharaj arrived in Bokda. He did darshan in the mandir and blessed one or two houses, then arrived in Sardargadh. After the evening ārti, the sadhus were singing ‘Sant vinā re sāchi kon kahe’. Swamishri asked, “Every sampradāy writes ‘one kalyān’. Why was ‘koti kalyān’ written here?” Swamishri answered himself:
“[Maharaj] drew those who were attached to others (avatārs or deities) to himself and attached them to himself. Even though he installed other murtis, he still pulled them to himself. There is no liberation elsewhere - that is the level of conviction he gave everyone. He gave them the bliss of having met Purna Purushottam, who is above Aksharbrahma. He came to grant āntyantik kalyān to hundreds of thousands of jivas and he did liberate them. He came to explain the differences in devas, avatārs, ekāntik dharma, and the supreme upāsanā. Koti kalyān is when one is pulled toward the Ekantik Sant and sees no worth in anyone else.

નિરૂપણ
(૩) ભાગ્ય જાગ્યાં રે આજ જાણવાં
તા. ૫/૧૨/૧૯૯૭ના સાંજે પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજ વડોદરાના આંગણે પધાર્યા. સ્વામીશ્રી મંદિરની પ્રદક્ષિણાના અગ્રભાગ પર બિરાજ્યા ત્યારે સામે પ્રાંગણમાં બેઠેલા હજારો ભક્તોએ જયનાદ ગજવી તેઓને સત્કાર્યા.
તે સૌને આશીર્વર્ષાથી તૃપ્ત કરતાં સ્વામીશ્રીએ કહ્યું, “આપણે બહુ ભાગ્યશાળી છીએ. આપણા ભાગે સારું લાંભું આવ્યું છે. હવે છેલ્લો જનમ. આ એમનું વરદાન છે કે સર્વને બ્રહ્મરૂપ કરવા છે. એટલે એવા લાંભામાં આવી ગયા છીએ.”
આમ કહેતાં સ્વામીશ્રીએ સ્વયં ‘ભાગ્ય જાગ્યાં...’ કીર્તનની કડી ઊંચી હલકે ઉપાડી. તેનું જ વિવરણ કરતાં વધુમાં જણાવ્યું:
“ભગવાન પુરુષોત્તમ નારાયણ, અક્ષરધામના અધિપતિ કે જેમનો ભેટો થાય નહીં, એ દયાએ કરીને આવ્યા ને આપણે એમનો દર્શન-લાભ લઈએ છીએ, એમનાં પ્રવચન સંભળાય છે એ દયા થઈ છે. કોટિ કલ્યાણ થયાં છે. કોટિ કલ્યાણ એટલે છેલ્લો જનમ. હવે ઉધારો નથી. ‘કેમ થશે? શું થશે? ભૂત થઈશું?’ એવી શંકા રાખવાની જરૂર જ નથી. મહારાજનું પ્રગટપણું છે ને સાચા ગુરુ મળ્યા એટલે જીતનો ડંકો વાગી ગયો. શું જીતી ગયા? માયા સામેની જીત થઈ ગઈ.”

(3) Bhāgya jāgyā re āj jāṇvā
On December 5, 1997, Pramukh Swami Maharaj arrived in Vadodara at night. After doing the pradakshinā of the mandir, he sat in front of the mandir, where thousands of devotees who sat in the courtyard welcomed him.
He pleased the devotees with the blessing: “We are very fortunate since we got the ‘better deal in the share’ - i.e. this is our last birth. To make everyone brahmarup is [Maharaj’s] promise. So we are included in this share.”
With these blessings, Swamishri sang the kirtan ‘Bhāgya jāgyā re āj jāṇvā’. Then, he explained:
“Purushottam Bhagwan, the sovereign of Akshardham - who is impossible to reach - has come here out of his immense compassion and we are able to have his darshan and listen to his talks. This is equivalent to millions of liberations - which means our last birth. There is nothing owed. There is no need to worry about what will happen, how it will happen, or will be become a ghost. Maharaj is present today and we have attained a genuine guru. The victory bells are ringing. What is the victory? It is the victory over māyā.”

નિરૂપણ
(૪) ભાગ્ય જાગ્યાં રે આજ જાણવાં
આકાશમાંથી તો આવીને બેઠા છીએ
તા. ૮/૪/૧૯૯૯ની સવારે નવસારીના મંદિર-સંકુલમાં નૂતન સભાગૃહનું ખાતમુહૂર્ત કરી સભામાં બિરાજેલા પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજે ‘ભાગ્ય જાગ્યાં રે આજ જાણવાં...’ પદ પર નિરૂપણ કરતાં જણાવ્યું:
“‘પામ્યા પ્રભુ પ્રગટ પ્રસંગ... અમથી પરોક્ષ રીતે તો સૌ ભક્તિ કરે છે કે એ...ય આકાશમાં ભગવાન છે, પણ આકાશમાંથી તો આવીને બેઠા છીએ. કોઈ ગેસ્ટ (મહેમાન) કાગળ નહીં, પત્ર નહીં ને એકદમ આવીને ઊભા રહી જાય તો ઓહોહો... આનંદ આનંદ થઈ જાય! ભાન ભૂલી જાય. એમ આપણને પણ અણચિંતવ્યું સુખ આવ્યું છે, તો હંમેશાં આનંદમાં, કેફમાં રહેવું. ડંકો વાગી ગયો છે આજ. શેનો ડંકો? નગારાંનો ધબ... ધબ... ધબ...? એ તો વાગે છે, પણ આપણે ડંકો શું? તો અક્ષરધામના અધિકારી બની ગયા છીએ એ ડંકો વાગી ગયો છે.”

(4) Bhāgya jāgyā re āj jāṇvā
In the morning of April 8, 1999, Pramukh Swami Maharaj explained the significance of ‘Bhāgya jāgyā re āj jānavā’:
“‘Pāmyā Prabhu pragat prasang...’ Everyone worships God that is not manifest, as if God is in the sky; but God has come from the sky and is sitting here. If a guest comes without being invited, one would be overjoyed. Similarly, we have attained immeasurable bliss that is unimaginable. Therefore, we should remain joyful. The drums of victory are sounding off. What are these drums for us? We have become eligible to reside in Akshardham - these are the victory drums.”
