કીર્તન મુક્તાવલી
પ્રસંગ
(૧) સૌને શીતળ છાંયલડી યોગીબાપા દેતા
સંતાપો મિટાવે સાચા નેમથી
ભૃગુપુર થઈ, તા. ૧૮મીએ ખારવા પધાર્યા. બીજે દિવસે સવારે રામજી મંદિરના પૂજારીના આગ્રહથી મંદિરે આરતી ઉતારવા પધાર્યા.
પાછા ફરતાં એક-બે પધરામણી થઈ. એક હરિભક્તે એક ઘરનું ડેલું બતાવતાં કહ્યું, “બાપા! અહીં દૃષ્ટિ કરો. એક બળદ અહીં પંદર દિવસથી રિબાય છે, પણ છૂટકારો થતો નથી.”
સ્વામીશ્રી કહે, “હાલો જોવા જઈએ.” પછી બળદ પાસે ગયા. પાણી મંગાવી તેના પર છાંટ્યું અને ધીરે રહીને કહે, “જાવ, બદરિકાશ્રમમાં તપ કરો.” એમ કહીને બોલ્યા, “હવે એનો છૂટકારો થઈ જશે.”
બરાબર બપોરે ૩-૩૦ વાગે બળદે દેહ છોડી દીધો! સૌને સ્વામીશ્રીની વચનસિદ્ધિનું ખૂબ આશ્ચર્ય થયું.
સ્વામીશ્રી તો બળદની મોક્ષગતિનો સંકલ્પ કરી હિંમતભાઈ વીરાભાઈના ઘરે પધાર્યા. બપોરે ઠાકોરજી જમાડવા ચીમનભાઈ નરસિંહભાઈ સોનીને ત્યાં પહોંચ્યા, ત્યારે રસોડામાં રસોઈ જોઈ રાજીપો બતાવ્યો અને કહે, “બહુ સારી બનાવી છે. કોણે બનાવી?”
“આ ગણપત મહારાજે.” ચીમનભાઈએ તેમને આગળ ધરીને કહ્યું, “બહુ ભાવથી બનાવે છે. પણ તેમને સારણગાંઠની પીડા ઊપડે છે, ત્યારે આવી સેવા નથી કરી શકતા.”
“એમ?” સ્વામીશ્રીએ ચિંતા વ્યક્ત કરી, “ક્યાં પીડા થાય છે?”
ગણપતભાઈ જોશી તો સ્વામીશ્રીની માધુરી મૂર્તિમાં લીન થઈ ગયા હતા. ઝબકીને તેમણે કહ્યું, “આ જગ્યાએ.”
સ્વામીશ્રીએ તે જગ્યાએ હાથ ફેરવી પ્રેમથી ધૂન કરી. પછી કહે, “જાવ, તમારું દુઃખ આજથી ગયું!”
આ પછી તેમને ક્યારેય તેની પીડા ઊપડી નહીં, જેનું આખા ગામને આશ્ચર્ય રહ્યા કર્યું.
આ અકારણ દયાનો ઝરો સ્વામીશ્રી દ્વારા જીવ-પ્રાણીમાત્ર પર કોઈ જ ભેદભાવ વિના વહેતો રહેતો અને લલાટે લખેલા કર્મબંધનના લેખ ભસ્મીભૂત થઈ જતા. સર્વ સંતાપોનું શાંતિમાં રૂપાંતર થઈ જતું!

Prasang
(1) Saune shitaḷ chhāyalḍī Yogī Bāpā deṭā
Swamishri arrived in Khāravā on the 18th. The next day, the pujāri of the Ramji Mandir insisted Yogiji Maharaj to come and perform the ārti. On the way back, Swamishri visited one or two homes. One devotee showed Swamishri the bullpen and said, “Bapa, cast your glance here and bless this bullock. He has been suffering for 15 days to no avail.”
Swamishri said, “Let’s go there.” And Swamishri went near the bullock, asked for water, and sprinkled it on the bullock. He said softly, “Go and perform penance in Badrikashram. Now, he will be freed from suffering.”
At exactly 3:30 pm, the bullock died. Everyone realized the power in Swamishri’s words - what he says happens accordingly.
Swamishri had liberated the bullock and was at Himmatbhai Virabhai’s house. Then, in the afternoon, Thakorji was offered thāl at Chimanbhai Narsinhnabhai Soni’s house. He saw the food prepared at his house and said, “The food is great. Who made it?”
“Ganpat Maharaj prepared the food.” Chimanbhai brought him forward and answered. Then he mentioned, “He cooks with love. However, he suffers from hernia. So he cannot cook at times.”
“Is that so?” Swamishri said concerned. “Where does it hurt?”
Ganpatbhai Joshi was simply engrossed in Swamishri’s loving murti. He became startled and said, “Here,” pointing to his pain.
Swamishri caressed the spot and did dhun. Then, he said, “From now on, your pain is gone!”
From henceforth, he never had pain. The whole village was simply amazed by this miracle. Such was the compassion Swamishri showed without reason. He showed no discrimination in mitigating the suffering of man or animal. The suffering that was destined to some because of their past karmas was turned to ashes, simply because he could - but mostly to turn them toward God.

પ્રસંગ

સૌને શીતલ છાંયલડી યોગીબાપા દેતા
નાનકડા સંત કૃષ્ણવલ્લભ સ્વામીએ સ્વામીશ્રી સમક્ષ સુંદર કીર્તન ગાયું, ‘જય જય યોગીજી, જય સ્વામી-શ્રીજી...’ તે સાંભળી સ્વામીશ્રી મુગ્ધભાવે તેમના તરફ જોઈ રહ્યા. કીર્તન પછી એકદમ રાજીપો બતાવ્યો ને કહે, “હા, ભાઈ...! ક્યાંથી શીખ્યા આવું!” સ્વામીશ્રીના શબ્દો જ એવા કે આત્મીયતાનું પૂર જ ફરી વળે. કૃષ્ણવલ્લભ સ્વામીને એ હાવભાવ અને એ મૂર્તિ ચિરંજીવ સ્મૃતિરૂપ બની ગયાં.
સ્વામીશ્રી જ્યારે સારંગપુર પધારે ત્યારે તેમની રસોઈનાં વાસણો ઊટકવાની સેવા આ નાનકડા સંત ઉત્સાહથી ઉઠાવી લેતા. સ્વામીશ્રી પણ તેમને સુખ આપતા.
એક વાર સ્નાન કરતાં સ્વામીશ્રીએ તેમને યાદ કર્યા, “ઓલ્યા નાના સાધુ ક્યાં?”
“હમણાં આવશે.”
“એમ નહીં, બોલાવી લાવો.”
કૃષ્ણવલ્લભ સ્વામી કંઈક સેવામાં હતા. સ્વામીશ્રીએ તેમને બોલાવ્યા તે જાણી, તેઓ હરખાતાં હરખાતાં આવી પહોંચ્યા. સ્વામીશ્રી કહે, “લ્યો, ગુરુ! સ્નાન કરાવો.” તેમણે સ્નાન કરાવ્યું ત્યાં સ્વામીશ્રી કહે, “કો’ કાલે ઉપવાસ!”
“ભલે, બાપા!” તેમણે આજ્ઞા સ્વીકારી લીધી. આમ, નાના સંતો સાથેની સ્વામીશ્રીની આત્મીય ક્ષણો તેમના હૃદયમાં શાશ્વત સુખનો સ્રોત બની રહેતી.

Prasang
(2) Saune shitaḷ chhāyalḍī Yogī Bāpā deṭā
The young sadhu Krishnavallabh Swami sang the kirtan ‘Jay jay Yogiji, jay Swami-Shriji...’ in presence of Yogiji Maharaj. Swamishri just looked at him in fascination. After the kirtan ended, Swamishri showed his pleasure and said, “Yes... from where did you learn this?” Swamishri’s words were such that he constructed a bridge connecting two hearts with affection. Krishnavallabh Swami stored this memorable interaction forever in his heart. Whenever Swamishri came to Sarangpur, this young sadhu always washed Swamishri’s utensils with enthusiasms. Swamishri gave him bliss in return.
Once, while bathing, Swamishri suddenly remembered him and said, “Where is that young sadhu?”
“He’ll be coming soon.”
“No. Go call him.”
Krishnavallabh Swami was preoccupied in some sevā. Hearing that Swamishri is calling him, he reached Swamishri overjoyed. Swamishri said, “Guru! Bathe me.” Krishnavallabh Swami bathed him (poured water on him). Swamishri said, “Say that you will fast tomorrow.”
“Okay, Bapa.” He accepted Swamishri’s āgnā. Such moments of interaction with Swamishri that captured in the young sadhus’ hearts became a flowing river of happiness.
