Now, Nishkulanand Swami is switching to the characteristics of an asant or a fraudulent sant (one posing to be a great sant but their motive is selfish.)
Jenā antarmā kām krodh, lobhnī lāhya baḷe;
Evā bahu kartā hoy bodh, te sāmbhaḷye shu vaḷe... 1
(1) There are many in this world who preach, but their heart rages with the flames of lust, anger, and greed. What can we gain from listening to them?
Man matsar mamtā moh, īrshā ati ghaṇī;
Evo adharma sarg samoh, dhārī rahyā je dhaṇī... 2
(2) They harbor a horde of adharma - ego, jealousy, I-ness and my-ness, delusion, etc. They are the head of these vicious natures.
Tene sevtā shu faḷ thāy, pūjīne shu pāmīe;
Je jamāḍīe te paṇ jāy, khādhu je harāmīe... 3
(3) What merits can we gain from serving them or worshiping them? Whatever we feed such a one who is unworthy is in vain.
Enā darshan te dukhdeṇ, na thāy to na kījīe;
Suṇī Nishkuḷānandnā veṇ, sahu manī lījīe... 4
(4) Even their darshan invites misery; therefore, avoid it if possible. Listening to Nishkulanand Swami’s words, believe it to be true.
