Translation
(1) Chaḷu kare re (pad - 9)
Chaḷu kare re, Mohan trupt thaīne;
Dāntne khotre re, saḷī rūpānī laīne. 1
Having become satisfied (after dining), He would do chalu and then clean His teeth with a silver toothpick. 1
Mukhvās laīne re, ḍhoḷiye birāje;
Pūjā kare re, harijan hete jhājhe. 2
Having taken some mukhvās, He would sit on a dholiyo, and devotees would extremely lovingly perform (His) pujā. 2
Pāpaṇ upar re, ānṭo laī Albelo;
Fenṭo bāndhe re, chhogu melī Chhelo. 3
Mahārāj would tie a twisted feto (around His head) just above His eyebrows and would leave a chhogu at the end. 3
Varṣhā ṛutune re, Sharad ṛutune jāṇī;
Ghelā nadinā re, nīrmaḷ nīr vakhāṇī. 4
Knowing the end of monsoon or the start of winter (have arrived), He would praise the pure water of the Ghela River, and … 4
Sant harijanne re, sāthe laī Ghanshyām;
Nhāvā padhāre re, Ghele Pūraṇkām. 5
Mahārāj would take along sādhus and devotees and would arrive at the Ghelā to bathe. 5
Bahu jaḷkrīḍā re, kartā jaḷmā nhāy;
Jaḷmā tāḷī re, daīne kīrtan gāy. 6
While engaging in amusement in the water, He would clap while singing kirtans. 6
Nhāīne bā’re re, nīsrī vastra paherī;
Ghoḍe besī re, gher āve Ranglaherī. 7
He would come out (of the water), after bathing, and having worn (dry clothes), Mahārāj would come home (to the darbār) sitting on a horse. 7
Pāvan jashne re, harijan gātā āve;
Jīvan joīne re, ānand ur na samāve. 8
The devotees would come (back) while singing His auspicious glory, and the joy of seeing Mahārāj could not be contained in their hearts. 8
Gaḍhpūrvāsī re, joīne jag ādhār;
Sufaḷ kare chhe re, neṇā vāramvār. 9
Seeing Mahārāj, the residents of Gadhadā would repeatedly feel their eyes have become fruitful. 9
Āvī birāje re, osarie bahunāmī;
Ḍholiyā upar re, Premānandnā Swāmī. 10
Upon arrival, Premānand’s Mahārāj would sit on a dholiyo in the courtyard (of the darbar). 10
