Translation
(1) Mune swapne na game re sansār
Mune swapne na game re sansār, kahone kem kījiye;
I do not like worldly life even in my dream. Tell me what I should do.
Vaman thayu man ūtaryu, evo jāṇyo re sansār... kahone 1
Once food is digested (and vomited), one becomes disgusted by it. I have considered worldly life as thus (i.e. like vomit).
Sej palang ne poḍhṇā, koī taḷāse pāv,
Even if one sleeps on a golden bed and someone is there to massage one’s feet (i.e. one has servants at their disposal)...
Patang paḍyo te upare, māthe Jam kero dāv... kahone 2
One still lives with fear, that Jamdut are lingering over their head.
Mrugrājnā mukhmā, je koī āve jarūr,
If one is confronted by a lion...
Khānpānne visare, marvu dekhe hajūr... kahone 3
They forget about (the happiness) of food and their belongings. They only see death.
Svārthe sahu koī maḷī, vidh vidh kare vāt,
Everyone has gathered because of their selfish motives and speak in many ways accordingly.
Antarmā kem ūtare, najare dīṭhel ghāt... kahone 4
How can worldly life settle in my heart when I have seen firsthand (the selfish motives)?
Samjī vichārī je karo, tajo khalaknī ās,
Take steps only after deep understanding and forsake desires of this world...
Nishkuḷānand nische karyu, sukh to sadguru pās... kahone 5
Nishkulanand is convinced that happiness is only with the guru.
