Translation
(1) Ham to ek Sahajānand gāve
Ham to ek Sahajānand gāve,
I sing only of Sahajanand [Swami];
Hamāre man Swāminārāyaṇ, dūsaro na bhāve…
My mind meditates only on Swaminarayan; I disregard all else.
Tap tīrath sādhanme svapne nahi jāve,
Not even in my dreams do I have a desire to undergo austerities, set out on a pilgrimage and perform other spiritual endeavours.
Jaise kou ghrut chhānḍ chhāchhko na khāve…
Just like after enjoying ghee, you do not wish to drink buttermilk.
Aṇimādik ashṭa siddhi muktiku na chā’ve,
Various powers and liberation is not what I wish for.
Sabko fal Sahajānand charan chitt lāve…
The fruit of all is Sahajanand; I have devoted my mind at his feet.
Sahajānand jāpse triya tāpko bujhāve,
Chanting the name of Sahajanand burns the three types of miseries.
Inhi ke pratāpse apār gati pave,
Due to this great power, one’s progress is boundless.
Agam nigam kathīn rahasya hame na samjāve,
I do not understand the difficult meanings in the scriptures.
Premānand sār sugam Sahajānand āve…
I, Premanand Swami, have easily attained the essence [of the scriptures] through Sahajanand [Swami].
