Translation

(1) Sādhu soī nāv sansārme

Sadguru Brahmanand Swami

Sādhu soī nāv sansārme...

Pragaṭ pramāṇ Hari pad prīti,

 nahi āshak dhan nārme... sādhu 1

(1) The genuine Sadhu is a boat that helps one cross the ocean of sansār. He has affection for holy feet of the manifest form of God. He has no weakness for women and wealth.

Māyākrut so satya na mānat,

 jānat dukh parīvārme;

Guṇātīt rahī Hariguṇ gāvat,

 chintā nāhī jīt hārme... sādhu 2

(2) He does not believe what has been created by māyā as true. He understands there is only misery in worldly life. He remains above the influence of the three gunas and sings the virtues of God. He does not worry about victory or loss.

Brahma hoy Parabrahma upāsat,

 bahat na vishay vīkārme;

Brahmānand sant soī sāchā,

 samjat sār asārme... sādhu 3

(3) That Sant is Brahman and he offers upāsanā to Parabrahman. He does not indulge in the vishays. Brahmanand Swami says such a Sant with these qualities is the true Sant who understands the what is sār (God) and asār (the world).
