Translation
(1) Rūḍu Swāminārāyaṇ nām nitya sambhārīe re
Rūḍu Swāminārāyaṇ nām, nitya sambhārīe re;
We should remember the Swaminarayan name continuously.
Vaḷī kartā gharnu kām, ghaḍī na visārīe re...
Whilst doing household chores, we should never forget it.
Dharmasutnu dhyān ja dhartā,
By meditating on the son of Dharma (Shriji Maharaj)...
Vār nahī bhavsāgar tartā;
One crosses the ocean of births and deaths immediately.
Hartā fartā Harine haiye dhārīe re... rūḍu 1
Therefore, we should remember Maharaj in all of our activities.
Dukh paḍe dilgīr na thāvu,
When we face misery, we should not become dejected.
Sukh maḷe harkhāī na jāvu;
When we face happiness, we should not become enthusiastic.
Sadāy himmat haiyethī nav hārīe re... rūḍu 2
We should never lose courage from our heart.
Sansār chhe sukh-ḍukhno dariyo,
The worldly life is like an ocean of happiness and misery. (One is not without the other.)
Temā tarī shake koīk ja tariyo;
No one can cross this ocean.
Sant samāgam karīne manne mārīe re... rūḍu 3
We should destroy the whims of our mind by associating with the Sant.
Smaraṇ kartā sukh ja thāshe,
By remembering Maharaj, we will become happy.
Fogaṭno fero ṭaḷī jāshe;
The futile cycle of births and deaths will end.
Muḷjī kahe Mahārāj mujne tārīe re... rūḍu 4
Mulji Bhakta asks Maharaj to save us from the ocean of misery.
