Translation
(1) Vafādārī nahī tajīe vafādārī nahī tajīe
Vafādāri nahi tajie, vafādāri nahi tajie,
We will never forego our loyalty!
Mari maṭatā vafādāri, vafādāri nahi tajie,
Even until our last breath, we will not forego our loyalty!
Jivishu āpne kāje, Pramukhji āpnā thaine...
We will live for you, Pramukh [Swami], as yours only.
Mūkāvi janma-mṛutyuthi, lidhā khoḷe tame amne,
Upon freeing us from the bondage of births and deaths, you [Swami] accepted us as your own.
Sahyā chhe am swabhāvone, ghasine dehne manane,
You have tolerated our flaws, by sacrificing your body and mind.
Karoḍo shish chhe ochhā, kaho ruṇa kem chūkavie...
Thousands of heads fall short; how can we possibly repay this debt?
Didhu tav hastamā jivan, ghaḍo je ritathi chāho,
We put our life in your hands; sculpt us as you wish.
Na leshu vād ke avguṇ, na karashu rāv ke dāvo,
We will not be envious, not see faults, not argue nor protest.
Karo je ghāv ghaḍavāne, pratitithi nahi farie...
Carve us out as you please; our conviction will not waver.
Ajāṇe bolie suṇie, nahi Sansthā taṇu narasu,
Even unknowingly we will not speak nor listen to negative words against the Sanstha.
Mukhethi āpnu shobhe, vachan tevu ja uchcharshu,
We will only speak words that enhance your glory.
Ame vāṇi taṇi sharaṇāi, reli āpne rijhie...
Our words will flow as a tune to please you.
Nimyā jene tame tene, gaṇishu āp chho pote,
Those you have appointed; we will consider them as your representatives.
Karishu jem ke'she te, rahishu rājipo jote,
We will do as they say and stay within sight of rājipo.
Tame Sansthā ane Sansthā tame chho bhed nav gaṇie,
You are the Sanstha, and the Sanstha is you. We will not consider these two to be different.
Ame vechāṇ Guruji āp, anuvṛutti māhi re’shu,
O Guruji! We will remain within your wishes.
Pratignā je tame pāḷi, ame paṇ jivmā jaḍashu,
The pledge that you lived by; we will embody also.
Tame chho mokshanā dātā, taji tav sharaṇ kyā jaie…
You are the sole giver of liberation; why then forsake your refuge and go elsewhere?
