Translation
(1) 2-252: Beṭhā sihāsan upare Sahajānand sukhdhām
Beṭhā sihāsan upare, Sahajānand sukhdhām;
Shriji Maharaj, the abode of bliss, sat on a sinhāsan.
Chāre kore sakhā shobhatā, vachche chhabīlo Shyām... 1
The devotees surrounding Maharaj created an amazing spectacle.
Ḍanlop sāheb āviyā, kāne suṇī Bhagwān;
[The Collector Andrews] Dunlop came hearing that Shriji Maharaj is God.
Baḷī Rājānī rītyu shu, arapyu bhūminu dān... 2
In a similar manner to King Bali, he donated land (for Maharaj to build a mandir).
Prabhu pātra pote malyā, Sahajānand sujāṇ;
He found God in the form of Sahajanand Swami.
Sūrya Chandranī sākhye, arpī bhūmi paramāṇ... 3
With the Sun and the Moon as witnesses (forever), he donated land.
Āshīrvād āpī karī, dīdho abhevar ām;
Maharaj blessed him and granted him abhaydān.
Mulakno pādshāh janral, pamāḍyo Akṣhardhām... 4
Maharaj granted the British General Akshardham.
Karuṇā sāgare kṛupā karī, dīdho abhevar sār;
Maharaj, the Ocean of Compassion, with grace granted him abhaydān.
Dās Gopāḷ kahe ṭāḷiyā, Jampurīnā mār... 5
Gopaldas said, he vanquished the beatings of Jampuri.
