Translation
(1) Shrīpur madhye shobhatu pratham karīne dhām
Shrīpur madhye shobhatu, pratham karīne dhām;
In the midst of Shripur (Amdavad), Maharaj built the first mandir.
Pote maḷī padharāviyā, Narnārāyaṇ nām... ° 1
He installed the murtis by the name of Nar and Narayan.
Vipra chorāshī nātnā, teḍāvīne tatkāḷ;
He called the 64 types of brāhmins.
Sāmān laī ganj māriyā, jaīne Kākariyānī pāḷ... ° 2
He had food items collected and food prepared near the Lake Kakariya.
Sīdhā sākarnā Shyāmaḷe, āpyā karīne pyār;
He gave the brāhmins food items for their cooking.
Jatan karīne jamāḍiyā, vipranā jūth apār... ° 3
He fed countless groups of brāhmins.
Kākariye ḍerā tāṇiyā, chha chha gāunī sīm;
At the Lake Kakariya, many tents spotted the landscape spanning 6 gaus.
Daḷ dīse raḷiyāmṇu, māhī chhe Arjun Bhīm... ° 4
Great bodyguards were seen (protecting the people camped there); many of whom were as brave as Arjun and Bhim.
Purano rājā āviyo, asvārī laī te vār;
The king of the city came on horseback at that time.
Dās Gopāḷ kahe prakramā, kare chhe vāramvār... ° 5
Gopaldas says that he goes around the city many times (to ensure the safety of the devotees).
