(1) Ham to ek Sahajānand charan ke upāsī
Ham to ek Sahajānand, charan ke upāsī,
I only have the upāsanā of the holy feet of Sahajanand [Swami].
Lagan magan matvāre, chhoḍī sab āsī…
I am passionate and euphoric. I have shunned all other desires.
Aḍsaṭh ab kaun kare, kaun fīre Kāsī,
Why visit the 68 places of pilgrimage, including Kashi?
Ashṭa siddhi ādik chau, mukti se udāsī…
Various powers and liberation are irrelevant to me.
Chaud lok bhog ke sukh, jāne sab fānsī,
The various pleasures and materials in the 14 realms are equivalent to dying.
Sahajānand padpankaj, makrand ke pyāsī…
The lotus feet of Sahajanand [Swami], from which I crave it’s nectar.
Charankamal ras lobhī, matike ujāsī,
I long for the nectar from his lotus feet which enlightens my mind.
Nārad Sanakādik madhup, gunj banbāsī…
Narad and Sanakadik are like bees [to the lotus feet], buzzing in the jungle.
Purushottam Sahajānand, jāne sukhrāsī…
I believe Sahajanand [Swami] to be the most precious source of happiness.
Premānand āyo sharan, charan ko nivāsī…
I, Premanand Swami, have taken refuge and reside at his [Sahajanand Swami’s] holy feet.
