દોહા
વળતું વાલમે વિચારીયું, ઉત્સવ કરવા અનેક ।
સહુ જન મળે સામટા, સમઝાય સહુને વિવેક ॥૧॥
વરસો વરસ વેગે કરી, આવે દરશને દોય વાર ।
એવી કરું હવે આગન્યા, મારા જનને નિરધાર ॥૨॥
અખંડ રહેશે ઉત્સવ એહ, નથી એક બે વરસની વાત ।
માટે ઉપાય બીજો કરું, જેથી થાશે સહુ રળિયાત ॥૩॥
મંદિર કરાવું મોટાં અતિ, મૂર્તિયો બેસારું માંય ।
સુગમ સહુ નરનારને, પૂજે સ્પરશે લાગે પાય ॥૪॥
ચોપાઈ
જિયાં લગી દર્શન અમે દૈયે રે, વળી સમૈયે અમે આવિયે રે ।
પણ અવાય નહિ સમૈયે રે, દરશન વિના દાઝે જન હૈયે રે ॥૫॥
માટે મૂર્તિયો અતિ સારી રે, કરી મંદિર દિયો બેસારી રે ।
તેને પૂજે પ્રેમ વધારી રે, ત્યાગી ગૃહી વળી નરનારી રે ॥૬॥
એમ વાલમે કર્યો વિચાર રે, માંડ્યાં મંદિર કરવા તે વાર રે ।
અમદાવાદમાં કરાવી મંદિર રે, તિયાં બેસારિયા બેહુ વીર1 રે ॥૭॥
નર નારાયણ સુખરાશી રે, પધરાવી કરાવી ચોરાશી રે ।
જે જે દર્શન કરશે એનાં રે, મોટાં ભાગ્ય માનવાં જો તેનાં રે ॥૮॥
દોહા
મંગલમૂર્તિ મહાપ્રભુ, શ્રીસહજાનંદ શ્યામ ।
સુખસાગર સંતાપ હરન, રટું નિરંતર નામ ॥૧॥
ગોવિંદને ગમતું સદા, ગામ વ્રતાલ વિશેષ ।
જળ છાયા ફળ ફુલ કરી, ગુણવંત ગુર્જર દેશ ॥૨॥
ચોપાઈ
વરતાલ મંદિર આદર્યું રે, તે તો સહુથી સરસ કર્યું રે ।
નવ મંદિર2 સુંદર સારાં રે, કર્યાં નૌતમ તે ન્યારાં ન્યારાં રે ॥૯॥
પૂરવ દિશાનાં મંદિર ત્રણ રે, માંય મૂર્તિઓ મન હરણ રે ।
લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ જાણો જોડ્ય રે, એતો બેસાર્યા શ્રીરણછોડ રે ॥૧૦॥
ઉત્તર મંદિરે ધર્મ ભગતિ રે, પાસે પોતાની મૂરતિ3 રે ।
દક્ષિણ દેરામાંહિ રાધાકૃષ્ણ રે, જોઈ જન મન થાય પ્રશ્ન4 રે ॥૧૧॥
વળી પોતાની મૂર્તિ5 બેસારી રે, તે તો સહુથી છે બહુ સારી રે ।
એહ મૂર્તિ મંગળ રૂપ રે, સહુ જનને સુખ સ્વરૂપ રે ॥૧૨॥
વસ્યા આવી વરતાલ ગામ રે, ધર્મનંદને કર્યું નિજધામ રે ।
તિયાં વર્ષોવરષ આવે જન રે, આવે ઉત્સવે કરે દરશન રે ॥૧૩॥
ઉત્સવ વિના પણ આડે દિને રે, આવે અનેક જન દરશને રે ।
જે જે દરશન કરે કોય દાસ રે, તે તો પામે બ્રહ્મમો’લે વાસ રે ॥૧૪॥
એવું ધાર્યું છે ધર્મનંદને રે, તેની કોણ કરે કહો મને6 રે ।
જેનો હુકમ પાછો ન ફરે રે, તે તો જેમ ધારે તેમ કરે રે ॥૧૫॥
આજ મહારાજે ધાર્યું છે એમ રે, કેનું ફેરવ્યું ફરશે કેમ રે ।
માટે એ વાટે કલ્યાણ જાણો રે, કહ્યું શ્રીમુખે સત્ય પ્રમાણો રે ॥૧૬॥
નથી વાત આ વડાઈ સારુ રે, સાચી લખતાં શીદ શંકા ધારું રે ।
માટે બહુ રીતે તારવા કાજ રે, આજ આવ્યા છે પોતે મહારાજ રે ॥૧૭॥
તાર્યા આવીને જીવ અનેક રે, વરતાલે તો વાળ્યો વશેક7 રે ।
જોયા ઉત્સવ સમૈયા જેણે રે, કરી લીધું છે કારજ તેણે રે ॥૧૮॥
જેણે કરી મંદિરની સેવા રે, વળી પૂજ્યા સંત મુક્ત જેવા રે ।
કરી ભક્તિ અતિ ભલે ભાવે રે, તેને તુલ્ય કહો કોણ આવે રે ॥૧૯॥
એનું ફળ છે અક્ષરધામ રે, પામી થાશે તે પૂરણકામ રે ।
એ તો વાત છે સાચી સઘળી રે, શ્રીમુખથી મેં જો સાંભળી રે ॥૨૦॥

નિરૂપણ
જ્ઞાનનો ચમત્કાર ઇચ્છવો
તા. ૨૭મીએ સવારે ‘પુરુષોત્તમ પ્રકાશ’ પ્રકાર: ૨૫મો નિરૂપતાં કહ્યું:
“બીજા અવતારોનું ભજન પાછળથી થયું. તેમને તે વખતે બધાએ રાજા ગણી કાઢ્યા. શ્રીકૃષ્ણને દ્વારિકામાં રાજા જ ગણ્યા. શ્રીજીમહારાજે તો પોતાની હયાતીમાં જ પોતાની મૂર્તિ પધરાવી અને પોતાનું ભજન કરાવ્યું.
“જૂનાગઢમાં વૈશાખ વદ બીજે હરિકૃષ્ણ મહારાજની મૂર્તિ પધરાવવી હતી. વેદિયા બ્રાહ્મણ કહે, ‘૫૦૦ કાચી ઈંટો જોઈશે.’ કાચી ઈંટો તો હાજર હતી નહીં. નવી કરે તો આઠ દી’એ સુકાય. સ્વામીએ ઐશ્વર્ય વાપર્યું. બીબાંમાં ગારો નાખી પછી ઘડીક વારમાં જ્યાં ઉપાડે ત્યાં તો ઈંટ ખાખરા જેવી થઈ જાય. સ્વામીએ સૂર્યનારાયણ અને શેષનારાયણને આજ્ઞા કરી હતી. ઉપરથી સૂર્યનારાયણ સૂકવે અને નીચેથી શેષનારાયણ ફૂંક મારે. કૃષ્ણજી અદા કહેતા કે, ‘હું પાસે હતો. ઈંટ મેં જોયેલી, દેવતાઓ સ્વામીની આજ્ઞામાં હતા.’ સ્વામીને મહારાજમાં એટલી બધી શ્રદ્ધા હતી, મહારાજની ફૂંકે પર્વત ફાટે. હજારોને મૂર્તિમાં ખેંચી લ્યે, તેવું તેમની મૂર્તિમાં આકર્ષણ હતું.”
પછી કોઈએ પૂછ્યું, “બાપા! આપ ચમત્કાર બતાવો.”
ત્યારે સ્વામીશ્રીએ કહ્યું, “આ છે તે સારું છે, નભાય છે, નહિ તો પડાપડી કરે, પાડી દ્યે! અત્યારે કાંઈ નથી તોય પડાપડી કરે છે. આપણે જ્ઞાનનો ચમત્કાર ઇચ્છવો.”
પછી કહે, “શાસ્ત્રીજી મહારાજ હજારોને ખેંચતા. તો અત્યારે કેટલો સત્સંગ થયો! પહેલાં સ્વામી પોટલું ઉપાડીને ચાલતા. તેઓ તો સંકલ્પે મોટર ઉતારે તેવા હતા. પણ એવા ચમત્કાર નહોતા કરતા. જેમને બ્રહ્માંડ પણ નજરમાં ન આવે તેવા સ્વામી જાતે છાણાં થાપતા. બીજા કોઈને ઐશ્વર્ય આપ્યું હોય તો ઝાલ્યો રહે?”

Sahu jana male sāmatā, samajhāya sahune viveka... 1
Thereafter, Maharaj thought that he should celebrate countless utsavs. All devotees can gather and meet each other and they will understand vivek... 1
Varaso varasa vege kari, āve darashane doya vāra.
Evi karu have āganyā, mārā janane niradhāra... 2
Swiftly every year, everyone should come for darshan twice. Now, let me pass that command to all my devotees... 2
Akhanda raheshe utsava eha, nathi eka be varasani vāta.
Māte upāya bijo karu, jethi thāshe sahu raliyāta... 3
The celebrations will continue forever, not just for one or two years. Therefore, I shall find another solution which will make many incredibly happy... 3
Mandira karāvu motā ati, murtiyo besāru māya.
Sugama sahu nar-nārane, puje sparashe lāge pāya... 4
I will build large temples and install murtis within them. This will make it easy for men and women to worship, touch, and bow down before... 4
Jiyā lagi darshana ame daiye re, vali samaiye ame āviye re.
Pana avāya nahi samaiye re, darshan vinā dājhe jana haiye re... 5
However long I continue to give darshan and attend all these celebrations; but when I am unable to attend samaiyas, the devotees will become heartbroken without my darshan... 5
Māte murtiyo ati sari re, kari mandira diyo besāri re.
Tene puje prema vadhāri re, tyāgi gruhi vali nar-nāri re... 6
Therefore, I will install very beautiful murtis in the mandirs I build. Those tyāgis and gruhastas – male and female - who worship them with increasing love... 6
Ema vālame karyo vichāra re, māndya mandira karavā te vāra re.
Amdavadma karāvi mandira re, tiyā besāriyā behu vira re... 7
In this way, the Maharaj thought of building mandirs and commenced this task. He built a mandir in Amdavad and installed the murtis of the two brothers... 7
Nar Narayan sukharāshi re, padharāvi karāvi chorāshi re.
Je je darshan karashe enā re, motā bhāgya mānavā jo tenā re... 8
Narnarayan dev, full of happiness, was installed and then the brāhmins were fed. Whoever does darshan of these murtis shall count themselves to be extremely lucky... 8

Mangala-murti mahāprabhu, Shri Sahajānanda Shyāma,
Sukha-sāgara santāpa harana, ratu nirantara nāma… 1
The great Lord is the embodiment of auspiousness. He is the ocean of happiness and the destroyer of difficulties. I chant his name constantly.
Govindane gamatu sadā, gāma Vratāla vishesha,
Jala chhāyā fala fula kari, gunvanta Gurjara desha… 2
Maharaj always loved Vartal especially. He loved the water, shades, fruits, flowers of Vartal which is in the Gujarati state.
Chopāi
Vartal mandira ādaryu re, te to sahuthi saras karyu re.
Nava mandira sundara sārā re, karyā nautama te nyārā nyārā re... 9
The construction of Vartal temple started; from all of them, the best of all. A beautiful temple with 9 domes, this was unique and different from the rest... 9
Purava dishānā mandira trana re, māya murtio mana harana re.
Lakshmi-Narayan jāno jodya re, e to besāryā Shri Ranachhoda re... 10
There are 3 murtis in the east side of the temple; the murtis are pleasing to the mind. Alongside with Lakshminarayan dev, Shri Ranchhod is seated... 10
Uttar mandire dharma bhagati re, pāse potāni murati re.
Dakshina derāmāhi Rādhā Krushna re, joi jana mana thāya prashna re... 11
Dharmadev and Bhaktimata are in the north side of the mandir; next to that is his own murti (as Vasudev). Radha and Krushna are on the south side of the mandir; by seeing these, the devotees’ mind is extremely pleased... 11
Vali potāni murti besāri re, te to sahuthi chhe bahu sāri re.
Eha murti mangala rupa re, sahu janane sukha svarupa re... 12
And he installed his own murti (by the name of Harikrishna Maharaj), that is the greatest from them all.
That murti is exclusive and unique; it is the form of great happiness to all devotees... 12
Vasyā āvi Vartal gāma re, Dharmanandane karyu nija dhāma re.
Tiyā varsho-varasha āve jana re, āve utsave kare darashana re... 13
Maharaj came and resided in the town of Vartal and made the town his own abode. Devotees come here year after year for celebrations and do darshan... 13
Utsav vinā pana āde dine re, āve aneka jana darashane re.
Je je darshana kare koya dāsa re, te to pāme brahmamo’le vāsa re... 14
Excluding the utsavs, on normal days, countless come on those days for darshan. Whichever devotee does darshan here will be granted residence in Akshardham... 14
Evu dhāryu chhe Dharmanandane re, teni kona kare kaho mane re.
Jeno hukama pāchho na fare re, te to jema dhāre tema kare re... 15
Who can disapprove of what Maharaj has decided? The one whose rule can never be overturned can do whatever he pleases... 15
Āja Mahārāje dhāryu chhe ema re, kenu feravyu farashe kema re.
Māte e vāte kalyāna jāno re, kahyu Shrimukhe satya pramāno re... 16
This is what Maharaj had decided. How can someone overturn what he decided? Therefore, this is the road of liberation. This is what Maharaj said with his own mouth... 16
Nathi vāta ā vadāi sāru re, sāchi lakhatā shida shankā dhāru re.
Māte bahu rite tāravā kāja re, āja āvyā chhe pote Mahārāja re... 17
These talks have not been said to exaggerate Maharaj’s greatness; they are absolutely correct and I have no doubt at all when writing this. To uplift jivas in numerous ways, Maharaj came onto earth himself today... 17
Tāryā āvine jiva aneka re, Varatāle to vālyo vasheka re.
Joyā utsava samaiyā jene re, kari lidhu chhe kāraja tene re... 18
By coming onto this earth, countless have been uplifted; and the importance of Vartal was given great value. Those who have seen these grand celebrations have completed everything there is to do... 18
Jene kari mandirani sevā re, vali pujyā santa mukta jevā re.
Kari bhakti ati bhale bhāve re, tene tulya kaho kona āve re... 19
Those who have served and helped within a temple and also served sadhus who are like the muktas; if they have performed devotion with great love, who can be compared to them? ... 19
Enu fāla chhe Aksharadhāma re, pāmi thāshe te puranakāma re.
E to vāta chhe sāchi saghali re, Shrimukhathi me jo sāmbhali re... 20
The fruits of doing all that is attaining Akshardham; once they attain that, they are perfectly and fully satisfied. All of these talks are completely true; I’ve heard this from Maharaj’s own mouth... 20
