દોહા
પછી મંદિરમાંહી મૂરતિયો, પધરાવી કરી બહુ પ્રીત ।
સુખકારી તે મૂરતિ, અતિ સારી સુંદર શોભિત ॥૧॥
મધ્યના મંદિરમાં મનોહર, જોયા જેવી જે જોડ ।
પ્રેમે કરી પધરાવિયા, ત્રિકમરાય રણછોડ ॥૨॥
પૂર્વ દેરે પધરાવિયા, રાધારમણ કૃષ્ણ કૃપાળ ।
આવી બેઠા ગરુડાસન, અતિ દયા કરીને દયાળ ॥૩॥
પશ્ચિમ દેરે પધરાવિયાં, શિવ પારવતી સુખરૂપ ।
ગણપતિ વૃષભ1 વળી, મળી શોભે છે અતિ અનુપ ॥૪॥
ચોપાઈ
સુંદર મૂરતિયો સરખી સારી રે, તે તો મંદિરમાંય બેસારી રે ।
જોયા જેવી મૂર્તિ જૂનેગઢ રે, જે જે જુવે તેને લાગે રઢ2 રે ॥૫॥
એવી પોતે મૂર્તિ પધરાવી રે, ગઢડેથી જૂનેગઢ આવી રે ।
કરવા અનેક જીવનું કલ્યાણ રે, કર્યું કામ શ્યામ સુજાણ રે ॥૬॥
કર્યો ઉત્સવ અતિ ત્યાં ભારી રે, આવ્યાં દર્શને સૌ નરનારી રે ।
તેને ભોજન કરાવ્યાં ભાવતાં રે, પછી નાહી નાથ જમ્યા હતા રે ॥૭॥
જમી પોતે જમાડિયા જન રે, ભાવે પીરસિયું ભગવન રે ।
ફરિ ફરિ ફેરવે મોદક3 રે, દિયે દોય માગે કોઈ એક રે ॥૮॥
અતિ હેત છે હરિજન માથે રે, માટે જમાડે છે જન હાથે રે ।
એમ જમાડી રહ્યા જન જ્યારે રે, મળ્યા સહુ સંતને તે વારે રે ॥૯॥
મળી વળી સંત પાયે પડ્યા રે, વળતા નાથ રૈવતાચળ4 ચડ્યા રે ।
એમ હરે ફરે કરે કાંઈ રે, સહુ જનને છે સુખદાઈ રે ॥૧૦॥
મંદિર કરાવ્યું જે મહારાજે રે, સહુ જીવના કલ્યાણ કાજે રે ।
કોઈ આવી દર્શન કરશે રે, તે તો અપાર સંસાર તરશે રે ॥૧૧॥
એહ મોટો કર્યો ઉપકાર રે, બહુ જીવ તારવા આ વાર રે ।
પશ્ચિમ દેશ કરવા પુનિત રે, કર્યું મંદિર સારું શોભિત રે ॥૧૨॥
વળી સંતને આપી આગન્યા રે, રે’વું નહિ આંહિ આવ્યા વિના રે ।
વરષો વરષ એક માસ રે, કરવો આ મંદિરમાંહિ વાસ રે5 ॥૧૩॥
એવી આગન્યા આપી દયાળે રે, તે તો માની લીધી છે મરાળે રે ।
વળી કરી છે હેતની વાત રે, તેણે સહુ થયા રળિયાત રે ॥૧૪॥
કહે આ દેશ છે બહુ સારો રે, સહુ જન મનમાં વિચારો રે ।
ઇયાં રામાનંદ સ્વામી રે’તા રે, જીવ બહુને અભયદાન દેતા રે ॥૧૫॥
સોરઠ દેશનાં સર્વે ગામ રે, તેમાં વસે છે પુરુષ ને વામ રે ।
તે સહુને દરશન થયાં રે, કોઈ દરશન વિના ન રહ્યાં રે ॥૧૬॥
વળી અમે પણ જો સોરઠે રે, સરવે ફર્યા છીએ સારી પેઠે રે ।
સહુ જાણે છે અમને જન રે, વળી થયાં છે સહુને દર્શન રે ॥૧૭॥
જે જે જપે છે અમારું નામ રે, તે તો પામશે પરમ ધામ રે ।
વળી આ મૂરતિ જે બેસારી રે, તે નીરખશે જે નરનારી રે ॥૧૮॥
તેને શીદ રાખી જોઈએ શંકા રે, જાશે બ્રહ્મમો’લે દઈ ડંકા રે ।
એમ ધારીને આવ્યા છીએ અમે રે, સત્ય માનજ્યો સહુજન તમે રે ॥૧૯॥
આ વારનો જે અવતાર રે, એવો ન થાયે વારમવાર રે ।
નથી આવ્યા ને આવશું ક્યાંથી રે, જન જાણજ્યો સૌ મનમાંથી રે ॥૨૦॥

નિરૂપણ
દેહ પોઠિયો છે, તેને સેવામાં ઘસડવો
(ચાલુ - પ્રકારઃ ૨૭) “‘વળી કરી છે હેતની વાત રે...’ હેતની વાત શું હશે? ‘મૂળ અક્ષરમૂર્તિ મારું મૂળ ધામ જૂનાગઢમાં છે’ એમ હેતની વાત કહી. સામાન્ય સાધુ હોત તો શું કામ બધાને ત્યાં આવવાનું કહેત? પણ ‘ગુણાતીત તો મારું સ્વરૂપ છે, તે મારી જગ્યાએ છે.’ તેથી કહ્યું. નહીંતર ગુજરાતના લોકો કાળી દાળ ને રોટલી ખાવા શું કામ આવે? જૂનાગઢમાં રસોઈ નહોતી હાલતી. વળી, સમાગમ કરવા બધા હાલીને આવતા. ત્યાં ગુણાતીતાનંદ સ્વામી મહારાજના મહિમાની વાત કરે. અને મહારાજ કહે, ‘આ મારું સ્વરૂપ છે. મારી જગ્યાએ છે. તેમાં મનુષ્યભાવ ન રાખતા, દિવ્યભાવ રાખજો.’ હેત હોય તો આ જ્ઞાન થાય. હેત વિના જ્ઞાન કોઈ ન માને.
“પોતાનું મનધાર્યું રહે ત્યાં સુધી તબિયત સારી રહે, ઉત્સાહ પણ ખૂબ રહે; પણ જ્યાં મનધાર્યું મુકાવે એટલે તબિયત બગડે. મનમાં રીસ ચડી જાય. શોક થઈ જાય. ‘મને શરીરનું દરદ છે ને આમ કેમ કર્યું?’ એવું બધું થઈ જાય. મહારાજ અને સ્વામીની ઇચ્છા એ જ આપણું પ્રારબ્ધ સમજવું જોઈએ.
“અમારા ગુરુ અમે જમવા બેસવાની તૈયારીમાં હોઈએ ત્યારે ‘કરો ઉપવાસ’ એમ કહી દેતા.”

મૂળ અજ્ઞાન ટળે એ જ સત્સંગ
કથાવાર્તાનું સુખ પણ અલૌકિક આપ્યું. અક્ષર દેરીમાં તથા સભા પ્રસંગે વાત કરતાં ‘ચાલો ચાલો જીરણગઢ આજ રે, સત્સંગ કરવાને’ એ પદ ઉપર બોલતાં સ્વામીશ્રીએ વાત કરી કે, “જીરણગઢમાં જ્યાં અનાદિ અક્ષરબ્રહ્મ વાતો કરતા હતા, ત્યાં જ અનાદિ અજ્ઞાન ટળતું હતું. જ્યાં મૂળ અજ્ઞાન ટળે, ત્યાં જ ખરો સત્સંગ થાય છે તેમ સમજવું. એટલે મહારાજે પણ સૌને આજ્ઞા કરી:
‘વર્ષોવર્ષ એક માસ રે, કરવો આ મંદિરમાં નિવાસ રે...’
“કારણ કે જૂનાગઢમાં સ્વામીના સમાગમથી મૂળ અજ્ઞાન ટળતું હતું અને એકાંતિક ધર્મ સિદ્ધ થતો હતો. ડભોઈના કરુણાશંકરને સ્વામીએ કહ્યું, ‘અહીં સત્સંગ લીલોપલ્લવ છે, કારણ કે અહીં સહજાનંદ સ્વામી પ્રગટ બિરાજે છે.’
“એવા સ્વામી-સ્વરૂપ સત્પુરુષના પ્રસંગમાં દેહનો અનાદર સહેજે જ રહે. આવું સ્થાન બ્રહ્મરૂપ થવા માટે સ્વામી શાસ્ત્રીજી મહારાજ બાંધી ગયા. કથાવાર્તાના અખાડા સારુ આ સ્થાન કર્યાં છે. આ અખાડામાં નાનો-મોટો કોઈપણ આવે, સત્સંગમાં કાંઈ ન સમજતો હોય તેવો પણ જો આવે, તો પાકી જાય. જેમ નિંભાડામાં માટલાં પાકે છે, તેમ પાકી જાય. આ અખાડામાં આવે તેને અજ્ઞાનરૂપી અંધારું, જગતની વાસના વગેરે ટળી જાય. મોટી વસ્તુ આવે એટલે નાની વસ્તુ આપોઆપ નીકળી જાય.
“આપણે જીવનો સત્સંગ કરવો. લોયા ૧૨માં જે છેલ્લો નિર્વિકલ્પ નિશ્ચય કહ્યો છે તે આપણે સિદ્ધ કરવો. એ નિશ્ચય પ્રમાણે જીવમાં વર્તાય તો એનો આનંદ જુદો રહે.
“આપણને પુરુષોત્તમ નારાયણનો સાક્ષાત્ સંબંધ તેમના પરમ એકાંતિક સંત દ્વારા થયો છે, તો તે કાંટો મોળો પડવા ન દેવો. મોટાપુરુષને નિર્દોષ જાણો એ મનની સેવા; તેમના ગુણ ગાય તે વચનની સેવા; અને કર્મ એટલે દેહે કરીને તેમની સેવામાં ટૂક ટૂક થઈ જાય. પરંતુ જો ઉન્મુખ વૃત્તિ રહે તો સેવ્યા ન કહેવાય. સન્મુખ વર્તે તો ગુણ આવી જાય. મોટાપુરુષના ગુણ પ્રાપ્ત કર્યા હોય, તો અંતરાય ન રહે.”
પછી ભક્ત રાઘવદાસે રચેલા, મહારાજનાં ચરિત્રના સલોકા વહેલી સવારે અક્ષર દેરીમાં બોલીને આગળ વાત કરી...

Ganapati vrushabha vali, mali shobhe chhe ati anupa... 4
In the west shrine, Maharaj installed Shiv and Parvati happily. Together with Ganpati and Vrushabh, they look wonderful and incomparible... 4

Joyā jevi murti Junegadha re, je je juve tene lāge radha re... 5
Maharaj installed these equally beautiful murtis. These are worth seeing as whosoever looks at them becomes attached to them... 5
Evi pote murti padharāvi re, Gadhadethi Junegadha āvi re.
Karavā aneka jivanu kalyāna re, karyu kāma shyāma sujāna re... 6
Maharaj installed these murtis having come from Gadhada to Junagadh. He did this for the purpose of liberating many jivas... 6
Karyo utsava ati tyā bhāri re, āvyā darshane sau nara nāri re.
Tene bhojana karāvyā bhāvatā re, pachhi nāhi nātha jamyā hatā re... 7
He held a big celebration in Junagadh where many males and females came to witness this. He arranged for food for all with love and then bathed and ate himself... 7
Jami pote jamādiyā jana re, bhāve pirasiyu Bhaghavana re.
Fari fari ferave modaka re, diye doya māge koi eka re... 8
After eating, he served the people will love. He went around serving sweets and gave two to those who asked for one... 8
Ati heta chhe harijana māthe re, māte jamāde chhe jana hāthe re.
Ema jamādi rahyā jana jyāre re, malyā sahu santane te vāre re... 9
He has so much affection for his devotees that he fed them with his own hands. While feeding the devotees this way, He met every the sadhu at the same time too... 9
Mali vali sant pāye padyā re, valatā nātha raivatāchala chadyā re.
Ema hare fare kare kāi re, sahu janane chhe sukhadai re... 10
Meeting Maharaj, the sadhus fell at his feet; afterwards Maharaj climbed Mount Girnar. In this way, He moves around and gives happiness to all... 10
Mandira karāvyu je Mahārāj re, sahu jivanā kalyāna kāje re.
Koi āvi darshana karashe re, te to apāra sansāra tarashe re... 11
The mandir that Maharaj had built was for the purpose of liberating all jivas. Those who come for darshan will be liberated from the endless worldly life... 11
Eha moto karyo upakāra re, bahu jiva tāravā ā vāra re.
Pashchima desha karavā punita re, karyu mandira sāru shobhita re... 12
He has done us a great favour by building a mandir and making the West region pure and saving many jivas... 12
Vali santane āpi āganyā re, rehvu nahi āhi āvyā vinā re.
Varasho varasha eka mās re, karavo ā mandira māhi vāsa re... 13
Thereafter, Maharaj commanded all the sadhus to come to Junagadh, staying at this mandir every year for one month... 13
[Maharaj commanded everyone to come to Junagadh to listen to the talks of Anadi Aksharmurti Gunatitanand Swami, whom Maharaj appointed as the mahant of the Junagadh mandir. This is a noteworthy command because Maharaj was to remain present through his Param Ekantik Sadhu, who was Gunatitanand Swami.]
Evi āganyā āpi dayāle re, te to māni lidhi chhe marāle re.
Vali kari chhe hetani vāta re, tene sahu thayā raliyāta re... 14
Everyone accepted this command of Maharaj. Thereafter, he spoke affectionately and everyone became delighted... 14
Kahe ā desha chhe bahu sāro re, sahu jana manamā vichāro re.
Iyā Rāmānanda Swāmi re’tā re, jiva bahune abhayadāna detā re... 15
He said, “Think about it all, this Junagadh region is very good. Ramanand Swami used to stay here and used to impart abhaydān (knowledge that frees one from all fears)... 15
Soratha deshanā sarve gāma re, temā vase chhe purusha ne vāma re.
Te sahune darashana thayā re, koi darashana vinā na rahyā re... 16
In all the villages in the Sorath region, many men and women live. All of them have had the divine darshan and not one has gone without this darshan... 16
Vali ame pana jo sorathe re, sarave faryā chhie sāri pethe re.
Sahu jāne chhe amane jana re, vali thayā chhe sahune darshana re... 17
Additionally, I have also been to all parts of Sorath and everyone knows me well and all have had darshan of me... 17
Je je jape chhe amāru nāma re, te to pāmashe parama dhāma re.
Vali ā murati je besāri re, te nirakhashe je nara nāri re... 18
Whoever chants my name shall gain a place in Akshardham. Addtionally, those who observe the murti that I have installed here ... 18
Tene shida rākhi joi shankā re, jāshe brahmamo’le dai dankā re.
Ema dhārine āvyā chhie ame re, satya mānajyo sahujana tame re... 19
Why should they have any doubts? They will surely go to Akshardham with victory. With that thought in mind, I have come here. Consider that the truth, O wise ones... 19
Ā vārano je avatāra re, evo na thāye vāramavāra re.
Nathi āvyā ne āvashu kyāthi re, jana jānajyo sau manamāthi re... 20
This avatār of mine at present does not happen regularly. I have never come before and will never come again; acknowledge this in your minds... 20
