દોહા
વળી કહું કોય સંતને, સેવશે શ્રદ્ધાવાન ।
તેના અંતરથી ઊચળી, વળી જાશે જાણો અજ્ઞાન ॥૧॥
સંત સેવ્યાથી સુખ મળે, વળી ટળે તન મન તાપ ।
પરમ ધામને પામિયે, તે પણ સંત પ્રતાપ ॥૨॥
તે સંત શ્રીહરિ તણા, પ્રભુ પ્રગટના મળેલ ।
શૂરા સત્ય ધર્મ પાળવા, પંચ વિષયથી પાછા વળેલ ॥૩॥
પરમાર્થ અર્થે આવિયા, નિજ સ્વાર્થ નહિ લવલેશ ।
એવા થકા ભમે ભૂમિમાં, આપે સહુને સારો ઉપદેશ ॥૪॥
ચોપાઈ
આપે જ્ઞાન દાન જનને રે, કહી વા’લપનાં વચનને રે ।
હિતકારી છે સહુના સનેહી રે, જાણો પર ઉપકારી એહી રે ॥૫॥
સાચા સંત સગા સૌ જનના રે, ઉદાર છે અપાર મનના રે ।
જેને શત્રુ મિત્ર સમતોલે રે, સુખે દુઃખે દિલમાં ન ડોલે રે ॥૬॥
હાની વૃદ્ધિ ને સમ વિષમ1 રે, નથી આપ અરથે ઊદ્યમ રે ।
હર્ષ શોક ને નૈ હાર્ય જીત રે, માન અપમાને સમ ચિત્ત રે ॥૭॥
અહં મમત ને મારું તારું રે, એહ નથી લાગતું જેને સારું રે ।
જક્તદોષ નથી જેમાં જરા રે, એવા સંત તે સંત મારા ખરા રે ॥૮॥
એમાં રહું છું હું રાત્ય દિન રે, સત્ય માનજો મારું વચન રે ।
અતિ પવિત્ર અંતર પેખી2 રે, સદા રહ્યો છું શુદ્ધ લેખી3 રે ॥૯॥
એવા સંતને હૃદિયે રઈ રે, કરું જીવના કલ્યાણ કંઈ રે ।
એહ સંત મળે જે જનને રે, કરે પળમાંહિ પાવન તેને રે ॥૧૦॥
એવા સંત છે સગાં સહુના રે, સુખદાયક જન બહુના રે ।
જેવી એ સંત કરે છે સા’ય રે, તેવી કોઈ થકી કેમ થાય રે ॥૧૧॥
માત તાત ને સગાં સંબંધી રે, કરે હિત એહ બહુ વિધિ રે ।
એનું હિત રહે યાનું યાંહિ4 રે, ના’વે કલ્યાણનાં કામ માંહિ રે ॥૧૨॥
દેવ ગુરુ કુળ ને કુટુંબ રે, એહ નહિ સાચા સંત સમ રે ।
સાચા સંત તેમાં અમે રૈ’યે રે, મળી જીવને અભયદાન દૈયે રે ॥૧૩॥
અભયદાન તો એવું કે’વાય રે, કાળ માયાથી નાશ ન થાય રે ।
એવું કોઈ વિઘન ન કા’વે રે, જે કોઈ નિર્ભયને ભય ઉપજાવે રે ॥૧૪॥
એવું નિર્ભય પદ નિર્વાણ રે, તેના દેનારા સંત સુજાણ રે ।
એવા સંતનો જેને આશરો રે, તે તો સંશે પરો5 પરહરો6 રે ॥૧૫॥
જાણો જનમ મરણ ભય ટાળી રે, જાશું ધામે વજાડતાં તાળી રે ।
સંત સમાગમ પરતાપે રે, જાશું બ્રહ્મમો’લ માંહિ આપે રે ॥૧૬॥
એમ સહુને કહે શ્રીહરિ રે, સત્સંગ મહિમા ભાવ ભરી રે ।
મોટું દ્વાર છે એ મોક્ષતણું રે, આજ ઉઘાડ્યું છે અતિ ઘણું રે ॥૧૭॥
કહ્યું બહુ પ્રકારે કલ્યાણ રે, અતિ અગણિત અપ્રમાણ રે ।
પણ સહુથી સરસ સંતમાં રે, રાખ્યું વાલમે એની વાતમાં રે ॥૧૮॥
એમ ઉઘાડ્યાં અનંત બાર રે, વા’લે કલ્યાણનાં આ વાર રે ।
જે જે ધારી આવ્યા હતા વાત રે, તે તો પૂરી થઈ સાક્ષાત રે ॥૧૯॥
જ્યારે થયું છે પૂરું એ કામ રે, ત્યારે રાજી થયા ઘનશ્યામ રે ।
કર્યો જેજેકાર જીવ તારી રે, વળતી વાલમે વાત વિચારી રે ॥૨૦॥
ઇતિ શ્રી સહજાનંદ સ્વામી ચરણકમલ સેવક નિષ્કુળાનંદ મુનિ વિરચિતે પુરુષોત્તમપ્રકાશ મધ્યે દ્વિચત્વારિંશઃ પ્રકારઃ ॥૪૨॥
નિરૂપણ
‘જે જે ધારી આવ્યા હતા વાત રે’
કથા પ્રસંગમાં જુદી જુદી વાતો નીકળી. નિષ્કુળાનંદ સ્વામી રચિત ‘પુરુષોત્તમપ્રકાશ,’ પ્રકરણ-૪૨ વંચાવતાં પંક્તિ આવી: ‘જે જે ધારી આવ્યા હતા વાત રે...’ તે સમજાવતાં સ્વામીશ્રી કહે, “મહારાજ કહે છે, હું જે ધારીને આવ્યો હતો, તે હવે એકાંતિક સંત દ્વારા મોક્ષનો માર્ગ ખુલ્લો રાખ્યો છે, તે વાત પૂરી થઈ છે.”
પછી યુવકોએ ‘અનુભવી આનંદમાં...’ એ પદ ગાયું. તેમાં પંક્તિ આવી: ‘જે વડે આ જક્ત છે તેને કોઈ ન જાણે રે...’
ત્યારે સ્વામીશ્રી કહે, “જેને આધારે જક્ત છે તેને કોઈ ઓળખતું નથી. એ શું?” ફરી પૂછ્યું, “કોને આધારે જક્ત રહે છે?”
“યોગીબાપાને આધારે.” એક યુવકે કહ્યું.
સ્વામીશ્રી કહે, “એમ નામ નો પાડીએ. સત્પુરુષને આધારે એમ કહીએ.”
પછી કહે, “વચનામૃત પ્ર. ૨૭ પ્રમાણે અનંત પ્રકારનાં ઐશ્વર્ય જે આ સંત મળ્યા તેને આધારે છે. અષ્ટસિદ્ધિવાળો આવે તો કોણ સત્સંગ રાખે? બાવા, ભગત, ભિખારી, ચમત્કારી, એસા-તેસા કરનારા આવે, એમાં ખેંચાઈ જવાય. મહારાજે ના પાડી. અષ્ટસિદ્ધિ-નવનિધિમાં માલ નથી.”

Vali kahu koya santane, sevashe shraddhāvāna.
Tenā antarathi uchali, vali jāshe jāno agnāna... 1
Whoever believes in my Sant with true faith, their ignorance will disappear from their heart ... 1
Santa sevyāthi sukha male, vali tale tana mana tāpa.
Parama dhāmane pāmiye, te pana santa pratāpa... 2
By serving the Sant, one derives happiness, and they will be freed from the miseries of the body and the mind. One will attain Akshardham by the grace of the Sant.. 2
Te santa Shrihari tanā, prabhu pragatanā malela.
Shurā satya dharma pālavā, pancha vishayathi pāchā valela... 3
The Sant of Maharaj is one who has met him. He follows his dharma bravely and truthfully, and he is averse to worldly desires... 3
[Here ‘Prabhu pragatna malel’ literally means one who has met the manifest God. However, today none of those who met Shriji Maharaj are alive. Therefore, the path of liberation would have ended. However, Brahmaswarup Yogiji Maharaj explains that this means one who has oneness with God and one who continues the work that Maharaj started on the earth. That Sant is the Gunatit Satpurush.]
Paramārtha arthe āviyā, nija svārtha nahi lavalesha.
Evā thakā bhame bhumimā, āpe sahune sāro upadesha... 4
He came for the happiness of others, not for their own selfish desires. He travels the world to deliver good messages to everyone... 4
Chopāi
Āpe gnāna dāna janane re, kahi vā’lapanā vachanane re.
Hitakāri chhe sahunā sanehi re, jāno para upakāri ehi re... 5
He imparts knowledge and gives charity to everyone. He spreads the message of God. He is the wellwisher of everyone. Belive that he is the benefit of others ... 5
Sāchā santa sagā sau jananā re, udāra chhe apāra mananā re.
Jene shatru mitra samatola re, sukhe dukhe dilamā na dole re... 6
The genuine Sant is the true relative of everyone; he is very generous in his mind. Friends and enemies are equal to him. Happiness and sorrow are the same... 6
Hāni vruddhi ne sama vishama re, nathi āpa arthe udyama re.
Harsha shoka ne nai hārya jita re, māna apamāne sama chitta re... 7
Gain or loss is the same to him. None of his efforts are for any selfish reasons. Joy and grief, victory and loss, respect or insult are all the same... 7
Aham mamata ne māru tāru re, eha nathi lāgatu jene sāru re.
Jakta-dosha nathi jemā jarā re, evā santa te santa mārā kharā re... 8
He does not like ‘I’-ness and ‘my’-ness, nor does he like ‘mine’ and ‘yours’. He does not have any worldly faults. Such a one is my genuine Sant... 8
Emā rahu chhu hu rātya dina re, satya mānajo māru vachana re.
Ati pavitra antara pekhi re, sadā rahyo chhu shuddha lekhi re... 9
I reside in him day and night; believe this to be true. Because I see his heart is pure, I always reside in him them because I believe him to be pure... 9
Evā santane hrudiye rai re, karu jivanā kalyāna kai re.
Eha santa male je janane re, kare palamāhi pāvana tene re... 10
I live in heart of the Sant and liberate many jivas. Whoever meets the Sant are immediately made holy... 10
Evā santa chhe sagā sahunā re, sukha-dāyaka jana bahunā re.
Jevi e santa kare chhe sā’ya re, tevi koi thaki kema thāya re... 11
The Sant is everyone’s relatives and he is the cause of happiness for many. No one can offer help like the Sant ... 11
Māta tāta ne sagā sambandhi re, kare hita eha bahuvidhi re.
Enu hita rahe yānu yāhi re, nā’ve kalyānanā kāma māhi re... 12
The love of one’s mother, father and relatives – all who shows a lots affection – will remain here; that love is not useful in liberation... 12
Deva guru kula ne kutumba re, eha nahi sāchā santa sama re.
Sāchā santa temā ame rai’ye re, mali jivane abhayadāna daiye re... 13
Deities, gurus, and family – they are not equal to a true Sant. I reside within a true Sant to grant liberation to the jivas... 13
Abhayadāna to evu ke’vāya re, kāla māyāthi nāsha na thāya re.
Evu koi vighana na kā’ve re, je koi nirbhayane bhaya upajāve re... 14
True donation that makes one fearless is the donation cannot be destroyed by the action of kāl or māyā. There is no calamity that can cause one who is free from fear to start fearing again... 14
Evu nirbhaya pada nirvana re, tenā denārā santa sujāna re.
Evā santano jene āsharo re, te to sanshe paro paraharo re... 15
The state of being fearless is an eternal state. The Sant is the one who can give this state. Whoever has the refuge of such a Sant should forsake any doubts they may have ... 15
Jāno janama marana bhaya tāli re, jāshu dhāme vajādatā tāli re.
Santa samāgama paratāpe re, jāshu brahmamo’la māhi āpe re... 16
With the fear of births and deaths destroyed, we will go to dhām clapping our hands (happily). Because of the power of the association with the Sant, we will go to Akshardham ... 16
Ema sahune kahe Shri Hari re, satsanga mahimā bhāva bhari re.
Motu dvāra chhe e mokshatanu re, āja ughādyu chhe ati ghanu re... 17
Maharaj explains the importance of satsang to everyone with great emphasis. The Sant is the great door to liberation that I have opened widely... 17
Kahyu bahu prakāre kalyāna re, ati aganita apramāna re.
Pana sahuthi sarasa santamā re, rākhyu vālame eni vātamā re... 18
There are so many unlimited and uncountable methods of liberation. But the most important way is through his Sant. Maharaj has said in his speech ... 18
[As mentioned in the previous Prakars, Maharaj opened the gateway to liberation through various means: darshan, sparsha, mandirs, sadāvrats, āchāryas, etc. The greatest means of liberation is through the Sant, however.]
Ema ughādyā ananta bāra re, vā’le kalyānanā ā vāra re.
Je je dhāri āvyā hatā vāta re, te to puri thai sākshāta re... 19
This time, Maharaj opened many ways for liberation. Whatever he has decided has been achieved ... 19
Jyāre thayu chhe puru e kāma re, tyāre rāji thayā Ghanashyām re.
Karyo jejekāra jiva tāri re, valati vālame vāta vichāri re... 20
Once this was achived, Maharaj was filled with joy. This was a victory in liberating the jivas and thereafter, Maharaj thought of the next chapter... 20
