જય જય સમર્થ શ્રીહરિ, જય સુખદ શ્યામ સુંદર ॥૨॥
જય પ્રતાપ પ્રગટ પ્રબળ, જય પરાત્પર પરબ્રહ્મ ।
જય જય જગકારણ, જય જય કહે નિગમ1 ॥૩॥
જયકારી પ્રગટ્યા પૃથવી પર, જયકારી કીધાં કૈક કામ ।
જયકારી ધારી મૂરતિ, પૂરી સહુના હૈયાની હામ ॥૪॥
ચોપાઈ
જય જય જગના જીવન રે, જય જય પ્રભુજી પાવન રે ।
જય જય જનહિતકારી રે, જય જન્મ મરણ દુઃખહારી રે ॥૫॥
જય જય જનક2 જીવના રે, સુખદાયક છો સદૈવના રે ।
જય જનના જનની જેવા રે, જય સદા ઇચ્છો છો સુખ દેવા રે ॥૬॥
જય જય જીવન જગવંદ રે, જય જય સ્વામી સહજાનંદ રે ।
જય જય સુખદ ઘનશ્યામ રે, જય જય કર્યાં બહુ કામ રે ॥૭॥
જય જે કર્યાં આવી કારજ રે, જોઈ જન પામ્યા છે આચરજ રે ।
અતિ અલૌકિક કામ કીધાં રે, આશ્રિતને અભયદાન દીધાં રે ॥૮॥
બહુ ઉપાય કલ્યાણ કેરા રે, કર્યા આવી આ જગે ઘણેરા રે ।
તે તો લખ્યા જેટલા લખાણા રે, કૈક રહ્યા ને કૈક કે’વાણા રે ॥૯॥
બહુ પ્રકારે ઉદ્ધાર્યા પ્રાણી રે, તેની લેશ લખી છે એંધાણી3 રે ।
સાંગોપાંગ4 અથ ઇતિ કે’વા રે, નથી વાલમિક વ્યાસ જેવા રે ॥૧૦॥
જે જે દીઠી આવી જાણ્યા માંઈ રે, તે તે લખી થોડી ઘણી કાંઈ રે ।
એક દિવસની વાત વળી રે, લખતાં ન લખાય સઘળી રે ॥૧૧॥
તેવાં વરષ ઓગણપચાસ રે, તે પર એક દિન દોય માસ રે ।
એટલામાં કર્યાં જે જે કાજ રે, તેને કોણ લખે કવિરાજ રે ॥૧૨॥
થોડા માંયે લેજો ઘણું જાણી રે, સર્વે વાત કેથી ન કે’વાણી રે ।
આ છે ગ્રંથ માહાત્મ્યનો ઘણો રે, તેમાં કહ્યો પ્રતાપ પ્રભુતણો રે ॥૧૩॥
તે તો સર્વે જાણજો સત્ય રે, નથી અક્ષર એકે અસત્ય રે ।
પણ પૂરી પ્રતીતિ જેને નોય રે, તેને આગળ્ય કે’શો માં કોય રે ॥૧૪॥
એને લખી લખાવી મા દેશો રે, જેને હોય હરિમાં અંદેશો5 રે ।
તેને અર્થે આ વાત નહિ આવે રે, જેનું મન માન્યું કાવે દાવે6 રે ॥૧૫॥
જે નો’ય પૂરી પ્રતિતીવાળા રે, તે તો ક્યાંથી થાય સુખાળા રે ।
સુખ લેશે સાચા સતસંગી રે, સુણશે કે’શે આ ગ્રંથ ઉમંગી રે ॥૧૬॥
ગાશે કે’શે સુણશે આ ગ્રંથ રે, તેના સર્વે સરશે અર્થ રે ।
આ લોકમાં આનંદ રે’શે રે, પરલોકે મોટું સુખ લેશે રે ॥૧૭॥
માહાત્મ્ય કહ્યું છે અતિશે મોટું રે, ખરાખરું જાણો નથી ખોટું રે ।
રખે અપોચિયાની7 લઈ ઓટ8 રે, પરિપૂરણમાં ખોળો ખોટ રે ॥૧૮॥
સમર્થથી શું શું ન થાય રે, એમ સહુ સમજો મન માંય રે ।
એમ સમજી સરવે સુજાણ રે, વાત પકી કરી છે પ્રમાણ રે ॥૧૯॥
તેને તક પાકી ગઈ પૂરી રે, કોઈ વાત ન રહી અધૂરી રે ।
પામ્યા પૂરણ પરમાનંદ રે, થયા ન્યા’લ કે’ નિષ્કુળાનંદ રે ॥૨૦॥
ઇતિ શ્રી સહજાનંદ સ્વામી ચરણકમલ સેવક નિષ્કુળાનંદ મુનિ વિરચિતે પુરુષોત્તમપ્રકાશ મધ્યે દ્વિપંચાશત્તમઃ પ્રકારઃ ॥૫૨॥
નિરૂપણ
જેનું કર્યું થાય છે તે ભગવાન જતા જ નથી
આજે ‘પુરુષોત્તમ પ્રકાશ’ નિરૂપતાં કહે:
“કોઈને પ્રશ્ન થાય કે મહારાજ ઓગણપચાસ વરસે જ કેમ ધામમાં ગયા? વધુ રહ્યા હોત તો લાખો જીવોને વધુ ઉગારત. પણ મહારાજને ગુણાતીત દ્વારા, પોતાના સંત દ્વારા કામ કરાવવું હતું, તેથી ધામમાં પધાર્યા. મહારાજ પોતે જે કામે આવેલા તે કામ ટૂંક સમયમાં પૂરું કર્યું. પોતાના જેવા ગુણાતીત પુરુષને સત્સંગનું સુકાન સોંપતા ગયા. સ્વામીશ્રીને ૫૮ વરસનો આવરદા બ્રાહ્મણે જન્મોત્રીમાં કહેલો; પણ મહારાજે કહ્યું, ‘મેં આંબા વાવ્યા છે, તે તમે ઉછેરો.’ તે સ્વામીએ કહ્યું, ‘તે દહાડાનો દેહ રહ્યો છે.’
“અત્યારે સવારે જ્ઞાનનો જમણવાર હાલે છે.
“નિષ્કુળાનંદ સ્વામીને હેતનું અંગ. હેત અસાધારણ. તેથી રહી ન શકે. કૃપાનંદ સ્વામી, પ્રેમાનંદ સ્વામી, સચ્ચિદાનંદ સ્વામી એ બધા હેતવાળા. નિષ્કુળાનંદ સ્વામી મહારાજના ધામમાં ગયા પછી કહે છે કે, ‘હવે આપણું મુખ અભાગિયું થયું, કારણ કે હવે હરિ સાથે કેવી રીતે વાત કરશે? આપણી આંખો પણ અભાગણિયો થઈ, હવે હરિનું રૂપ ક્યાંથી જોઈ શકાશે?’
“એક વાર જામનગરમાં જાગા સ્વામી નિષ્કુળાનંદ સ્વામીના બાર મહિનાના (બારમાસીનાં પદો) બોલતા હતા: ‘સખી શોં રે કહું ઉપાય, પિયુ પરદેશ રે...’ ગુણાતીત સ્વામી ઓસરીમાં બેઠા સાંભળતા હતા. પછી કહ્યું, ‘આ પણ મારા ગુરુ(નિષ્કુળાનંદ સ્વામી)નું અજ્ઞાન છે. આપણો પિયુ ક્યાં પરદેશ છે? આપણે ક્યાં પરોક્ષ છે? પ્રત્યક્ષ માનવા જોઈએ.’ જતા નથી રહ્યા. જ્યાં સુધી ભગવાન પરોક્ષ મનાય, ગયા જણાય છે, ‘મારું કંઈ જાણતા નથી’ એમ મનાય છે, ત્યાં સુધી અજ્ઞાન છે.
“લગની લાગે પછી તે વિના રહેવાય જ નહીં. ગ્રામ્યવાર્તા, છાપું વાંચવું ન ગમે. અખંડ એમાં જોડાઈ જાય. પછી ભગવાન અને સંતમાં હેત બંધાઈ જાય, અનુવૃત્તિ પળાય, સેવા-ભક્તિ થાય.
“બીજા અવતારો તો જતા રહ્યા, તેની તો વાત જ નથી. જેનું કર્યું થાય છે તે ભગવાન તો જતા જ નથી... મોટાપુરુષને ભગવાન અખંડ દેખાય. સંત દ્વારા અખંડ છે.”

Jayakāri dhāri murati, puri sahunā haiyāni hāma... 4
You are praiseworthy for you manifested on the earth and accomplished words that are praiseworthy. The murti you assumed is praiseworthy. You gave comfort to everyone... 4

Jaya jaya janaka jivanā re, sukhadāyaka chho sadaivanā re.
Jaya jananā janani jevā re, jaya sadā ichchho chho sukha devā re... 6
Praise to the father of all the jivas and the bestower of everlasting bliss. Praise to the mother of all jivas; praise to you for you wish to give bliss to everyone... 6

Jaya jaya sukhada Ghanashyām re, jaya jaya karyā bahu kāma re... 7
Triumph to the one who the whole world bows to; triumph to Sahajanand Swami. Triumph to the blissful Ghanshyam, and triumph to you who accomplished many tasks... 7
Jaya je karyā āvi kāraja re, joi jana pāmyā chhe ācharaja re.
Ati alaukika kāma kidhā re, āshritane abhayadāna didhā re... 8
Victory to you for you came and accomplished many deeds and those who saw were left amazed. You accomplished many divine feats and gave the boon of fearlessness to those who sought your refuge... 8
Bahu upāya kalyāna kerā re, karyā āvi ā jage ghanerā re.
Te to lakhyā jetalā lakhānā re, kaika rahyā ne kaika ke’vānā re... 9
You introduced many methods of liberation by coming on this earth.I wrote as many as I could write; some are left and some have been told... 9
Bahu prakāre uddhāryā prāni re, teni lesha lakhi chhe endhāni re.
Sāngo-pānga atha iti ke’vā re, nathi vālamika vyāsa jevā re... 10
You saved many creatures in many various ways. I have only written a fraction of these. Even Valmiki Rishi or Sage Vyas cannot completely write your feats from beginning to end... 10
Je je dithi āvi jānyā māi re, te te lakhi thodi ghani kāi re.
Eka divasani vāta vali re, lakhatā na lakhāya saghali re... 11
I have briefly written all that I saw or come to know. Even if I were to write one day’s worth, I could not write it completely... 11
Tevā varasha oganapanchāsa re, te para eka dina doya masa re.
Etalāmā karyā je je kāja re, tene kona lakhe kavirāja re... 12
Such forty nine years, one day and two months – in this period, whatever Maharaj did; which poet can write all of that?... 12
Thodā māya lejo ghanu jāni re, sarve vāta kethi na ke’vāni re.
Ā chhe grantha māhātmyano ghano re, temā kahyo pratāpa prabhutano re... 13
Take what little I have written to be a lot; for no one can write everything completely. This scripture is about the greatness of Maharaj, in which I have written about the powers of Maharaj... 13
Te to sarve jānajo satya re, nathi akshara eke asatya re.
Pana puri pratiti jene noya re, tene āgalya ke’sho mā koya re... 14
Everyone must know this is the truth; not a single letter is incorrect. But do not say this to those who do not have complete faith in this... 14
Ene lakhi lakhāvi mā desho re, jene hoya harimā andesho re.
Tene arthe ā vāta nahi āve re, jenu mana mānyu kāve dāve re... 15
Do not give this in writing to anyone who has doubts about Maharaj. This scripture will not be of any use to those whose have a tendency to find faults in others... 15
Je no’ya puri pratitivālā re, te to kyāthi thāya sukhālā re.
Sukha leshe sāchā satasangi re, sunashe ke’she ā grantha umangi re... 16
How can those who do not have complete realization in Maharaj be happy? True devotees will be derive bliss by joyfully singing and listing this scripture... 16
Gāshe ke’she sunashe ā grantha re, tenā sarve sarashe artha re.
Ā lokamā ānanda re’she re, paraloke motu sukha leshe re... 17
Those who sing or listen to this scripture will fulfill all their pursuits. They will live joyfully in this earth and they will attain great bliss in Akshardham... 17
Māhātmya kahyu chhe atishe motu re, kharākharu jāno nathi khotu re.
Rakhe apochiyāni lai ota re, paripuranamā kholo khota re... 18
I have explained the greatness of Maharaj; believe this is the truth and none of it is false. By taking sides of hypocrites, please do not try to find imperfection in this perfect reality... 18
Samarthathi shu shu na thāya re, ema sahu samajo mana māya re.
Ema samaji sarave sujāna re, vāta paki kari chhe pramāna re... 19
What cannot be done by one who is powerful; everyone understand this in their mind. The wise should understand this; this truth has been authenticated... 19
Tene taka pāki gai puri re, koi vāta na rahi adhuri re.
Pāmyā purana paramānanda re, thayā nyā’la ke’ Nishkulananda re... 20
A ripe moment has arrived and nothing remain to complete; They have attained complete and highest form of bliss; they have been fulfilled says Nishkulanand... 20
